  1. Do love the podcasts and real glad they have made it back. Not listened to the latest one but is in my ipod.... Just one comment really, maybe Numbers could stop answering his own questions. When he asks a question of a guest he then proceeds to give the answers rather than letting the expert "ahem" :-) guests give their opinion, which is who we want to hear from. For example if he asks Dave, "Why did we not win X game?" rather than stopping there he will continue to say was it because of X, Y, Z and basically has the question answered before the guest has said a word. Just a polite suggestion, that is all. As for questions - I now live on Oz for my sins but woudl love to hear something like Away day stories from away game trips...maybe just me...
  2. Done, but also want to say of all of these emails we have seen in the last few weeks this one of the best. Well written without making outrageous threats or silly jokes. Good job captainharris
  3. Hi All, I have, by accident, got my hands on a spare pair of tickets for the Middlesbrough game. Wondering does anyone want them - face value of course. They are together in the Anfield Road upper. Let me know if you do. Can meet up before the game to give them to you... Thanks Decs
  4. Arsenal & United have 20-30K more fans per home game United have a much more efficient marketing / merchandising department Arsenal can charge London (significantly higher) ticket prices Chelsea have similar size stadium, larger sponsorship and can charge much higher ticket prices To compete we need much better marketing / merchandising - but we have been saying this for 15 years. Would we all except higher ticket prices to compete in the short term till a new stadium comes online? And even after that the revenue from the stadiums will always be higher in London. I think the first thing that any new owner, DIC or otherwise will do is raise prices to compete straightaway....would we be happy with that?

    Laptop DVD

I had the same problem with my work laptop. One of the lads in work told me about a free downloadable media player called VLC, search on google and it is the first thing that comes up. This bypasses windows media player and will play all region dvds ( I buy a lot of region 1) in drive and also all the movies tv etc that I download from bit torrents. Really easy as I am crap at computers. Hope this helps
  6. Do what I am doing, I have to get her the ring but I am demanding something out of it and she now has to buy me a nice watch in exchange....not the same price but it is going to be a DAMN nice watch. If they want equality then they must be equal in it all!!!
  7. Well we are waiting for the bestseller that will be Anfield Exposed from the Pulitzer prize winning author, but thanks verymuch for that Original 202
  8. Can someone tell me the name of the Liverpool history book released last year that had copies of tickets and scouting reports and stuff liked that included in pockets in it? Ideally also a link to it on Amazon or something. I can't seem to find it.... Thanks very much
  9. Hi, been a long time member & subscriber but cannot really post much from work. Have never claimed to had any kind of inside knowledge but thought this was worth passing on as I truly trust my mate. He is a scouser who sits beside me in work, a blue but a good guy Apparently Rafa has just bought a house for in Caldy (sp?), some big house on a hill. Mate says it is on the same road as Ian Rush and a McManaman with Robbie Fowler around the corner. Now I do not know Liverpool geography well so anyone who does can tell if there is a big house on a hill in this area and if Rushie and Macca live on the same road. My friend says a good mate of his just sold the house to Rafa. He did mention a price of something like 6 mill but do not know if that is the case. This says to me Rafa is going nowhere and here for a while so we can stop obsessing about it for the moment. I know people are always coming on claiming some special inside knowledge. I don't have any and will never have any other info. Just thought I would pass this on. I for one will be sleeping a lot sounder and just hope the board give him the money to spend...
  10. bought this for my girlfriend and there is a seriously strong motor in that thing! She does not seem to mind tho :D

    Totti

Have to say I don't post much, but if ever I completely agreed with something it is that. Couldn't happen to a more deserving, cheating, dishonourable player.
  12. Totally agree with Bellflower - that sign should mean something and strike fear into teams the way it used to... This IS Anfield.
  13. Agree I have always thought Salif was a good player. Big, strong, mobile and scary as hell! But a good player who I always thought looked to pass the ball forward every time and more importantly pass it on the ground. Too many of our players seem to think we have a 6'6" striker to hoof balls up to. But afraid he may never get his chance...
