1. Can anyone recommend me somewhere decent to go for a scran and watch match tomorrow. Around South Liverpool preferably, but not ruling out town either. Cheers.
2. Accidentally stumbled upon this after watching some Nathan Barley clips on youtube today. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope for this generation after all, I'd almost given up.
3. Impossible to pick best ever as there have been so many but these stand out. Bruce Springsteen at Bramall Lane, Sheffield (Tunnel of Love tour) Peter Gabriel Birmingham NEC 1987 TheThe at the Royal Court, early 90's Radiohead at MEN (OK Computer tour) Arcade Fire MEN (Neon Bible tour) Hammell on Trial at Telford's warehouse Chester 2004..ish Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros at the University in town was probably the most special if I was pushed, as it turned out to be his last ever. I'd have had it on the list regardless as it was a cracking gig and great atmosphere.
4. Ones I've always wanted to see but just never got round to it for some reason. Heat (I've actually owned the dvd for years!!) The big lebowski Fargo City of God Citizen Kane Schindler's list Dr. Strangelove
5. You lucky bastard Zeke, one of the best ever IMO. 'Face' is another decent one from the nineties which may have escaped you. Ray Winstone and Robert Carlisle play a couple of armed robbers. The robbery was actually based on a real one that happened in a security depot round the corner from where I work on Huyton industrial estate. Good soundtrack too.
6. Watching telly the other day and that Sky advert came in where the fella picks the telly up off the wall and folds it into an iPad, then a phone. My missus was amazed and still thinks its an advert for a folding television. I haven't got the heart to tell her.
7. Helplessness Blues by Fleet Foxes for me.
8. Unbelievable drug. Should be compulsary to take one a day among the adult population, all the planets problems would be sorted out in no time. (I jest but serious users will know what I mean) Obviously I'm talking about pure mdma not the shit that passes for it these days. I first took it in 1987 in The State then almost every week for the next 2/3 years. It really was the most amazing time of my life. Then coke took over and everything went to shit. I'm 42 now so obviously only drop a tab once every blue moon but they're not a patch on the ones from 'back in the day'. Had a go of magic (mdma powder) a couple years back and it was just like the old days but I've never been able to get hold of it since. I'd have no qualms about taking it regularly again if I knew where to get decent gear from but I don't really move in those circles any more. That 2CB shit sounds boss by the way.
9. I FUCKING MADE THEM!!! ^^^^^^^ 5 star A4 2R 25mm Ringbinders. That picture's a few years old now though. We stopped using the mottled grey lining paper ages ago. All the standard stuff is white now.
10. Every 3 to 4 weeks, No.2 back & sides and trim on top. £6 + £1 tip. Fuck that £25 lark off, she'd have to do a lot more than just brush her tits across my shoulders for that!!
11. 1. Enrique 2. Kelly 3. Lucas. Just edges out Downing & Suarez for me.
12. Judging by his age and build, if Simon was diabetic he'd almost certainly be Type 1. Type 2 diabetics tend to be overweight or over 50. I was diagnosed Type 1 at 35 and I'd never been below 10.5 stone (dropped to 9 at the time I was diagnosed) or over 11.5 since the age of 18.
13. Same odds on totesport mate. EW 1/3 odds for 1st or 2nd. Very tempting.
14. Been looking forward to it anyway but I tell you what, any doubts that might have been in the back of my mind have been well and truly blown away by squabblefest's post. Fucking outstanding mate. Repped when I get home from Zante!

16. X2. That's one of the greatest things I've ever seen on the internet!!
17. I'm still trying to get my head around the reason why the undies needed to be bottled before lashing them!
18. Had a cracking day. Picked the winners in the first 2 races AND the last two! Decent prices aswell. We had no dickheads with us so no problem getting in anywhere in Chester. One of the lads was a web designer who did some work for the Revolution bar so he sorted a couple of tables in the Revolution Albert Dock with loads of free shots/jugs etc. I'd had well enough so got off from there around midnight with £160 left in my pocket this morning. All in all a top, top day out. Lovely!
19. Coach taking us back into town at 8pm so we'll have a few in Chester afterwards. Torn between those first 2 myself mate. Deffo fancy Never can Tell in 4.00. Yeah, Bob's a legend. Where are you mate?
