My German osteopath absolutely rants and raves about German football during sessions and his view was that always that he would stay which makes me a bit more sanguine. I didn't believe it but everything he said makes sense in retrospect. What he said was that Alonso wouldn't leave in the middle of a project; it had nothing to do with lack of ambition. I was like "yeah but its Liverpool" but it turns out he was right I suppose. I know its disappointing, I'm certainly disappointed but he isn't doing anything majorly wrong by staying and maybe we could revisit things down the line.

If we are talking Football manager their recent stingy increase for Quansah is a disgrace. Current ability up to 61. What the fuck? No increase to potential ability either. Also they raised Endo's current ability from 71 to a whopping 72. Shame on Sports Interactive!

Yes of course, Does that make the UK government worse than the collection of oil states, agents and corrupt officials who currently run football. I don't think so. At least the UK government has a tangential interest in the public good and we do get a vote however watered down its influence. As I say if anybody has a better idea I'm all ears.

The current system has robbed Klopp of god knows how many trophies through cheating. If anyone has a better idea than government regulation I'd like to hear it.
