  1. Well I had the twats down to win 5-1 but didnt expect them to capitulate so quickly. It is appalling that a so called PL team should collapse like that. You just know when they rock up to Anfield, they'll either put up far more resistance or just kick shit out of us for the first 30 minutes or so. Haha, Watford subbing off a player after 38 minutes. Obviously he's going to be made the scapegoat.
  2. For any pro footballers to surrender a game like Watford have done in the first 12 minutes is beyond comprehension. A shocking lack of professional pride. 4-0.
  3. Things started so well for Mig with that last minute pen save against Stoke and walters in that opening game. I think Mig's problem is his lack of focus for 90+ minutes in a game. He could make a howler of a mistake, like in the League Cup Final against city then, pull off a string of excellent stops in the same game. Equally he could go the other way and start the game making excellent stops and then flapping one in like Xhaka's goal at the Emirates. Mig did his best but it just wasnt good enough. Neither has he bad mouthed the club like the last couple of snakes who've forced their way out in recent times. Sure, he's voiced a bit which is understandable so, Ive no ill will towards him. Thanks Mig, sorry you werent quite good enough, hope you have some good years in the twilight of your career.
  4. I see the lad is getting a pounding in some parts for his part in a goal last night. I wish people would lay off the lad and move on. De Gea made more mistakes than Karius last season but he isnt getting anything like the kicking Karius is.
  5. Yeah, I said he was at fault in 2 games. I dont think he's been 'at fault' that's resulted in a goal in other games. Norwich, comes on as sub, Pukki scores. The lad hits a hattrick in his next game or so. Chelsea Super Cup, at fault for the pen. Southampton away, at fault for their goal. Arsenal, Trent fannies around near the Kop corner, arsenal score in last 5 mins. Burnley away, clean sheet no blame. Newcastle, CB scores with a rocket, Trent and Matip have a disagreement on who should have closed the CB down. Napoli, tired tackle by robbo gives away a 'pen.' Virgil makes mistake and Llorente scores. Ive seen your comments about the Llorente and Newcastle goals. Laughable. But carry on with your agenda.
  6. Haha. Yeah whatever. Perhaps you deliberately missed the bit where I acknowledged he was responsible for Southampton's goal and the pen against chelsea? Good try but no cigar.
  7. We've been conceeding for a number of reasons, Trent being a bit careless in defence, Andy not being in the form of last season. Hell, even Virgil made a mistake on Tuesday. And what you going to say if we dont keep clean sheets when Alisson comes back, that he's gone shit all a sudden? Rrrrrright.
  8. Correct, some people seem to think our back up keeper should be Alisson mark 2 and that's very unlikely, isnt it? I think some people are jumping on Adrian because we've only kept 1 clean sheet with him in goal. I think there's only 1 game where he's contributed to that, the Southampton game. Yeah, he gave a pen away in the Super Cup but chelsea had already scored from open play. Ive seen nothing to suggest that with Alisson in goal we'd have kept more clean sheets so far. Pretty much all the other goals we've conceeded, I dont think Alisson would have stopped them.
  9. These rants are clearly a wind up? He wasnt the reason we conceeded two goals tonight. One was a tired tackle by Robbo and the other was a tired poke by Virgil. But hey, Virgil never makes mistakes so let's say the keeper was at fault, shall we?
  10. Well, what a fucking shit show that turned out to be. We just dont like playing in Naples. Maybe it's brought the players down to earth with a bump? To sum it up, the front three looked like they were only introduced to each other just before kick off. Ive never seen them so out of tune with each other. The midfield gave them the balls and the chances but they either just wasted possession or blew the chances. Adrian was unlucky with the pen but no one's really stopping it with that much power. Looked a lot of tired players out there in the last 15 minutes. Gini looked like he struggled to get back in position from their box and he'd just come on. Fabino dead on his feet. Trent continues to smack the ball into the nearest player. Robbos 'challenge' for the pen was a tired one. Not sure how that stood after VAR, isnt it a clear and obvious error if there's no contact? Virgil's error was also clearly down to tiredness. We need to win against Salzburg as it seem Ghenk are going to be the whipping boys of the group.
  11. Bit of a curate's egg of a game. Good in parts, bad in others. Thank fuck for van Dijk. Matip has played a few stray balls and looked beaten for pace a couple of times, Trent is miles off the attacking player and continually slams the ball into a Napoli player when closed down. Should Bobby have scored with that header McManaman said was an easy chance? I thought considering he was almost on the edge of the box he did well. Sadio in flashes, Mo running into Koulibaly too often. Id taken a draw here before kick off. Would be happy with a point.
  12. Indeed. City's players knew they had to win that game at the etihad to be able to retain the title. All their players said so after the game and yes, if they had drawn they'd have said the same thing. Im firmly of the opinion we didnt think the same focused way. But the team is now very muched more focused. I think if the team were in the same position now, we'd have shut up shop and played out the draw instead of taking the game to them and conceeding. They'll use that experience from last season.
  13. Dear god, jamie redknapp spouting city trailled us by 10 points last december but still reeled us in. When exactly was that because I dont recollect us ever being 10 points ahead? We were 7 points ahead for the same number of games when we played them and threw away a draw chasing a win.
  14. VAR isnt the problem. The problem as with all officiating in the PL is mike riley, head of the ref's association. He wants and gets HIS interpretation on the use of VAR stuck to. They dont have this shit show in other leagues like we have. In the Leipzig v Bayern bundesliga game, bayern were awarded a dodgey pen when the bayern player ran into the Leipzig defender. OK it took a bit too long but the ref consulted the VAR then the pitch side monitor and ruled he made a mistake in awarding the pen in the first place but the correct decision was made. Riley is not allowing this to happen in the PL. Add to this we dont know whats happening at Anfield because George or someone isnt keeping up with events.
  15. 1-1 and they fucked it up,1-1 and they fucked it up!
  16. Is it ok to laugh at someone when they're down in the gutter? What was the headline, going for their second consecutive victory wasnt it?
  17. Fucking hell, I wish people would learn YNWA and stop fucking clapping part way through. What the fuck is going on with George's microphone, he sounds like Norman Collier doing his faulty mic impression? Atmos was definitely flat today for most of the game. Saw one geordie with his lad about 10 or 12 before kick off. Looked like the fella was off his face, pissed. Not sure whether they let him in the ground in that state. Wish it was a 5 point lead with a couple of games to go. Thank you Norwich, other shit teams, take note.
  18. Seems a bit churlish to ignore a man who won 4 trophies in 2001, fa, league, uefa and super cups.
  19. You cant see Jimmy face in that picture so I dont get how you can claim Case looks 'shit scared.' Case was reckoned to be the hardest at Liverpool at the time and Im not saying Souey wasnt harder when he joined.
  20. Nail on head Id say. In fact, Ive already seen a report saying there is 'family member' pressure for him to kick on. I do not think it's a co incidence that Stevie isnt wading in to all this. All the stuff about Stevie just comes from his (duncan's) side. Im not sure which side of Gerrard's family duncan is from since a cousin could come from Stevie's mother or father's side (yeah, I know, obviously). Maybe it's his dad's side, after all,he did have a world with a Mr Fixit when Stevie was having some 'trouble' so maybe, there's undesirable on that side? I honestly do not think this lad will be any loss. Brewster is head and shoulders above him and Glatzel looksa better bet. He seems another ravel morrison in the making.
  21. Ah, I see they think they are the real deal after today's result, again. Dont worry, it's just another false dawn until it all goes wrong again. Then they can get back to blaming Liverpool, also, again.
  22. Jurgen said they sorted it in the dressing room. Jurgen probably said, Listen Mo, pass the fucking ball when yer teammates are in a better position,ok? Cool!
