Good thing Man United signed Casemiro. He's a winner, etc...
-
Yes, but you are 99.9% shtick.
-
Thank you for this honour. I am not sure I have ever been on the receiving end of a non schticky Kevin D post. I think he seems to have the work ethic and professionalism where he will keep improving the things that are controllable. But yeah, the size thing is true and it is an obstacle.

I mean, see out his career is definitely a stretch, but willingly selling him soon is also hard to believe. I will say, if PSG offered up a lot of money, he would go for sure.

Who Vlahovic? Id be surprised to be honest. I really think there are just two options for strikers at the highest level now. Either you get one who is technically awesome and who contributes in every part of the game at a high level, including defensively. Or you get someone who scores so much that they dont really have to do anything else. Like Haaland. Anything in between those two types and you are found wanting. Although someone like Giroud I would say is a bit of an outlier.

van Dijk is old, plus has an uncertain contract situation and then Matip is going. We arent also going to sell someone who is going to be entering his prime age.
-
Agreed. I think they have been great when they chant his name for doing as little as closing someone down.

His lack of pace is one of the most redundant talking points out there. He is an excellent presser and he is in the 99th percentile for shot attempts as a midfielder. So the lack of pace doesnt stop him being able to harass the opposition effectively and it doesnt stop him being able to create space for shot opportunities. So whats the problem again?

The type of striker you are describing, who doesnt really do anything but score in the penalty area, doesnt really exist anymore. Except for Haaland.

There was a kid at Feyenoord on loan from Newcastle, Yankuba Minteh, who was very dominant statistically this season. If Newcastle want to make a bit of money, he would be a bit of a project that Slot has already worked with. If we wanted to do something like that.

Didn't you single out players before the game even started?

That's the same sort of thought that led us to buying Nunez.
-
He's had a good season.
-
The fact he didn't get a hat trick against that guy is the surest sign it's over.
-
Gakpo and Elliott had their best ever games here, at least.

Good stuff by Dar Dar.

Salah has somehow been average in this game, going up against fucking Emerson.
-
It's a parody. Possession in front of a defensive block that leads to nothing but giving it away in their 3rd when pressed. Forget not rating Postecoglou, it's like we're playing Barca u14, or something.
-
Comically naive performance from Spurs.
-
That's the bread and butter for Gakpo, that cross.

I'm just amused that he is meant to be this disaster while Nunez who we paid premium money for, was for most, until about a month ago, king chaos boy. I think they're actually very, very similar players and have said this for a while. It's just that Jackson's a 35m signing and is 22. He's sort of allowed to be erratic.

Nicky Jackson will outscore Nunez in the league. Was told I was crazy when I said he was decent.
