Miserable bastard alert BUT... though Hungarian lad looks like he'll bring a lot to the attack, we still have a glaring problem called Fabinho in the centre of the pitch. If we can't bring legs, energy, and aggression back into the midfield area then we still haven't addressed our main weakness from last season. After spending £95m quid, I'm concerned that we're going to leave it at that in midfield and move onto bringing in a centre back. We need two more players at a minimum.

Sounds like we're fucking about on the price for that Hungarian lad. From everything I've seen and read about him his release clause seems to be about right given what midfielders of similar profiles are going for.

And the club were so smart in letting all 4 run their contracts down and not receiving a penny for any of them weren't they. The one area where Jurgen can probably be questioned on is being overly loyal to players who are on the downward slope. Even the 4 that left, 3 of them we know Klopp wanted to keep, which is troubling. I know loyalty to his players says a lot about the man himself, but if there's one summer where you have to be brutal it has to be this one.

We need two more midfielders. The club are gonna do things on the cheap again aren't they.

Anybody else a bit surprised that we're not hearing news about Jurgen being a bit more ruthless with exiting one or two names from the first team squad and having a proper shake-up? Still early days like, but all the noises are that Fabinho, Thiago, Matip, Hendo etc are all going to be around next season after all.
