  1. Beto the Portuguese Stracqualusi - first touch like a trampoline. He's gonna need to be better than this.
  2. Huge result will give everyone a much needed lift. I wondered about the subs but Klopp shows why he gets paid and we are chatting shit on a forum. I was suprised by the cowardice of Howe, we were down to ten losing our captain and Trent on a yellow. Astonished they didn't go full throttle.
  3. John Henry would sell Linda wrapped in a bow to Al Bin loadsamoney if the deal was right. I never thought Salah would be interested in going to that tin pot league. I always bought into the idea of him wanting to smash records and the pursuit of being the best. I do wonder if we were better placed and playing in the Champions League if he would have even given it the time of day. FSG as risk people will look at any Salah sale differently to us. They will think what if he gets crocked in Feb and is out for 9 months what if Saudi tone their spending down (unlikely) etc. Our best bet is not the owners not selling but Klopp and Salah hoping we can deliver on the pitch this year. I obviously wouldn't sell.
  4. People on here have discussed the legitimacy of the bid. I'm not offering an opinion on the (fake) bid but offering another option (Salah money) - the rushed bid for Caicedo without talking to the player. The money being there then pivoting to Endo.
  5. Smart move by the agent. Lure Everton into a false sense of security - then reveal Origi to the dismay of Pickford. It's on.
  6. Next game for Everton in the league, he couldn't could he?
  7. I don't know if this is real but some of his best work.
  8. There has been talk of the Caicedo bid been fake or real. Another option is the Caicedo bid was us preemptively spending the Salah money.
  9. Feel dirty saying this but been impressed by Howe - I guess when your head is on the chopping block it helps keep you focused. Noticed, Tonali, Gordon and Guimaraes have already picked up two yellows each and nobody committed more fouls than Joelinton last season. Will be a big physical and niggly test for Endo, Dom and Mac Allister. With Konate out need a commanding performance from Van Dijk. From the clips I saw Endo won a lot of soft and clever fouls in Germany be interesting to see if it plays out the same way here (doubtful).
  10. Cunt stole that from me. I posted and uploaded it to image flip and here at 5pm. Give me my tweet money from Musk, Mr Everton Extra.
  11. This fella played 99 out of the last 102 Bundesliga games, it was only suspension and concussion that took him out. The anti Melo.
  12. Us supporters including myself downplay or underestimate leaders/balance in the dressing room. All managers and ex pros really value the importance - I suspect they are right and we are wrong. If half the recommendations about this fella are right he will definitely be a goodun.
  13. Cpfcgay account is a bit of a wum account where the rumour seems to stem from. If he had a clause I'd be suprised if we bid more than double for Caicedo knowing they could get Doucoure. It does seem odd though maybe there is something at play.
  14. Both this reporter and Miguel Delaney have stated Liverpool believe they can get for him for 50 odd million. Strange. They have been interested in Doucoure since midway through last season. It was an excellent first campaign in English football for the 23-year-old, with only Declan Rice making more interceptions than the Malian across the whole Premier League in 2022/23 Standard Sport revealed last month that Paris Saint-Germain were also keeping tabs on the defensive midfielder, but it is Liverpool who will push hardest to sign him before the September 1 transfer deadline. The Eagles are thought to value Doucoure at around £70million, though Liverpool believe he could be a cheaper option than Lavia, who will cost Chelsea £58m after add-ons Palace, having already lost Wilfried Zaha to Galatasaray this summer and with Michael Olise close to joining Chelsea, are desperate to keep Doucoure, who manager Roy Hodgson wants to field alongside new signing Jefferson Lerma as his double midfield pivot throughout the 2023/24 campaign. It was only last summer that he joined the south London club from Lens for a fee of £21m. While Doucoure is thought to be open to a move to Liverpool, he is also content at Palace just one year into his five-year contract
  15. Just like Milner got games at Left Back when he joined I reckon Endo could do a shift at RB if needed. Midfield and RB could be OK.
  16. I'm not sure about the Super League but a salary cap would only work if all of Europe did it. Any promises from Perez and were like a Brexit promise - say what you want to get what you want. Now you have Saudi paying even more obscene numbers, any salary cap in Europe looks unlikely in the short-term. I do know there are a lot of American owners in English football and they are in a strong position to push for rule changes in the Premier League if they wanted to. As much as FSG and co moan about others abusing the system - they are all trying to gain an advantage on each other. Secondly their investment has gone up because the Premier League for all its faults has the best players and oil money and oligarchs have massively contributed to it. You are right the rulers of footballs aim isn't about competitiveness and balance but growing revenue.
  17. Mali qualified for the African Cup of Nations who Doucoure plays for. The tournament starts on the 13th of Jan and finishes Feb 11th. This time the league has a two week break after the away game at Bournemouth on the 13th of Jan for two weeks. If Mali are shit he could be back for the Arsenal and Chelsea games. If they are good then he could end up missing 4 games including Burnley.
  18. Bring out simple rules. Clubs can only own no more than 20 senior players or 23 if playing in Europe. Scrap the loan system for players aged over 21 or similar age based on evidence.
  19. First home game looks who's on VAR. Thomas Bramall looks like he's never reffed us before, 32 not bald, Sheffield born.
