Agree, he could be good, but it's grasping at straws, we really shouldn't be in a position whereby we are reliant on one kid to bolster another kid in a key position. Really like the two signings, but if we are signing this kid surely we need to be in tandem with someone with more experience. He'd of been ideal 3 years ago for a transitional change, just idea of him being key man even though just a year or two younger than Caicedo is a big ask.

One complaint! Jamie Carragher is fcking painful! Is he talking to himself most of the time? He seemed surprised that Gakpo is quick, one of the most obvious things I have noticed about him when he turns and runs at you, both for Liverpool and during World Cup.

Bajetic can certainly play, physically he might get knocked off ball now and again but he had the feet to get himself out of trouble on more than one occasion. Start him against Chelsea and as much as I despise Keita he can get around pitch also. Would like to see 3 start against Chelsea, then Mo, Nunez (assuming back), Gapko upfront. Would think Klopp may feel Elliot deserves to start... Jones effort when came on...sadly guy continued to disappoint where the rest did well.

I think we have to take the rough with the smooth on this one. The amount of chances he gets/creates if he were to convert he would be closer to 150m...so I'm happy to run with his performances up until now. If he doesn't score or have an assist he does seem to be 'involved', like that third goal. As mentioned, forget the dummies, time those offside runs a bit better etc and only going in one direction. He is always looking to get in and really causing problems for defences. He will never be blessed with amazing feet, but Klopp et al would have seen that in advance and trust that he will deliver regardless. It may be a patient one and at times frustrating, but I feel worth the wait.
