  1. my personal highlight would have to be the '05 season when we finished above Liverpool and qualified for the Champions League! We were knocked out in the first round qualifier and never actually got to the competition itself but the defeat to Villarreal is one of my favourite games featured on the DVD ifithadnerbinforcollina. As always though, beating Liverpool is more important than any trophy or european qualification and the DVD includes the 3-0 win and the FA cup win over the reds which makes it worth the price! The 04/05 season was even better to finish 4th above Liverpool, it was great, somehow though they managed to luckily win the Champions League and overshadow us again. Bringing in Per Kroldrup the following season was a master stroke and if it hadn't been for Collina he would have helped us win the Champions League in 05/06. I think the below comment is from one of us: What a DVD this is, it perfectly encapsulates David Moyes's outstanding 10 years in charge at Everton with all of the excellent production values I've come to expect from an official Everton Football Club DVD. Quite simply, its a portrayal of the bestest manager in world football in the past decade, a man who has had success upon success during his tenure at Everton. Since coming in 2002 he became the first Everton manager since the 1980s to win the 'Finished above Liverpool' shield in 2005, not to mention his outstanding record of winning four 'beat the RS' cups in 2004, 2006, 2009 and 2010 (the latter against the best opposition manager they had in the last decade, Mr Roy Hodgson with his 35 years experience). But the biggest trophy we won in this glorious decade was in August 2010, a 2-0 win over Everton de Vina del Mar of Chile which brought Merseyside its first ever trophy in a worldwide competition ('The best team in the world called Everton' cup), in fact this win was so dominant that our Chilean bretheren were relegated at the end of their season, such is the devastating affect of the Moyesiah. The DVD also highlights David Moyes' incredible dignity - not once has he ever bemoaned refereeing decisions that went against his team, never accused other players of diving, not once has he ever accused draws of being fixed because the Illuminati didn't want Everton at the top table of European football (or at any of their tables for that matter), but most impressively he has never ever moaned about the lack of financial resources he has had (especially compared to a team not far from here who have spent billions in the last decade) - just imagine if David Moyes was able to spend £6.5m on James Beattie, £5m on Per Kroldrup, £5m on Simon Davies, £5m on Richard Wright, £10m on Diniyar Bilyadentov, £11m on Yakubu, £15m on an LMFAO impersonator - just imagine what we would have won - the FA Cup, the Premiership, the Champions League, the African Cup of Nations, we would have had it all and then some. Just imagine, everybody would have wanted to be us, we'd be like Barcelona but good, but they couldn't be us, after all we are born not manufactured. But credit to Moyes, he's never ever ever bemoaned the lack of money he's had to spend and bemoaned would could have been. Never. Ever. This DVD also brought back memories of how Moyes was able to mould our homegrown young talent from prospect to player, such as: - Victor Anichebe - we used to call him 'The Nigerian Cristiano Ronaldo'. Now we call Cristiano Ronaldo 'The Portuguese Victor Anichebe'. - Tony Hibbert - I'll be honest, I never rated him before Moyes, but one day watching him I thought 'Dear Lord, has Gary Neville taken a serious beating with the ugly stick? What, that's Tony Hibbert??? Wow. Just wow.' - Leon Osman - ifithadntbeenfergerrardlampardhargreavesparkerwilsherejonesjenasbarrymilnerbeckhambuttcoleandcarrick he would definitely have been a mainstay in the England midfield this past decade, driving England to many glorious moments in the qualifying phases of international tournaments. Whilst its a darn good DVD there is one area where it could have been better - whenever our dear leader speaks, I feel there should be a power ballad playing in the background to emphasise just how fantastic he is, just think how much powerful our dear leaders words would be with Mariah Carey or Westlife in the background. As the title says, he is the Moyesiah who makes anything seem possible. And he did. And he will continue to do so.
  2. Carroll, Downing and Adams are not good comparisons when it comes to ability on the field. Lallana is above them in terms of quality but definitely not for 30 million. He's worth 15 million but because of the 25% clause, 20 mill will seem a fair price for him. If Southampton want more, we just need to go and get Shaqiri instead who in my mind is a much better player and save the extra money.
  3. Nope. He's done nothing. its the stupid media that are reporting all of these and some of us have been daft to believe the daily mail etc
  4. So Thiago was not a Man Utd player but Fellaini was? Way to go...
  5. Samuel Eto'o has delivered another parting shot at Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho by branding him a 'puppet'. Eto'o is out of contract at Stamford Bridge after a season-long stint following his move from Anzhi Makhachkala and looks to have signalled his departure with some disparaging remarks in recent weeks. The 33-year-old was angered by Mourinho's comments earlier in the season when he appeared to question his official age and described the Portuguese as a 'puppet' after previously branding him a 'fool'. "Contrary to what a puppet says about my age, I am still physically fit," he told the Confederation of African Football's official website.
  6. Happy birthday mate. Today happens to be mine as well
  7. I predict the best seller to be the Josemi iPhone cover or Josemi tee.... NOT!
  8. Btw, Konoplyanka's wiki page was edited and his current team was changed to Liverpool. It's back to default now. Probably some pranksters edited his page.
  9. Me too. If I was to choose players from Real, I would take Isco, Modric, Di Maria and one of Morata/ jese.
  10. This There is no fucking way hes going lesser than Bale money even if Real gave us Angel Di Maria or any other player as a sweetener. Caughtoffside says we will buy Cavani for 60mill if Suarez goes.. ha ha ha.
  11. Daniel Levy: "Moving forward, now the season is over, we shall embark on the process of finding a new Head Coach. We have a talented squad and exciting young players coming through. We need to build on this season, develop our potential and inspire the kind of performances that we associate with our great Club." Daniel - I heard a certain David Moyes is available.
  12. Jose should have won it then considering his team finished 3rd without having the services of a striker the entire season. The bell-end.
  13. Joke of a club... http://screencast.com/t/h63ku53aRq OT - How do I attach a image?
  14. Definitely a success considering we finished 7th last year and spent nowhere as much as Man City, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Man Utd spent on players throughout the year and inspite of all this, we finished 2nd. Read it again - 2! We dazzled the league with our playing style and everyone in Europe is taking notes of how we have played and are definitely in awe. Managers/ Players all over are all talking about us e.g. Pep. Who would have imagined this at the start of the season. From "our objective is to be in CL" to "automatic qualification assured" and with a shout of the title in the last day is astounding. We might not have a cup to show for our efforts but there is plenty of momentum that is building up.
  15. I feel sadder now then I was last yr at the end of the respective seasons. Shows how far we've come forward thanks to Brendan and the boys.
  16. He's gone to the dogs. Bin him. I'll be amazed if we keep him beyond this season
  17. I believe arsenal have a buy back clause with regards to Vela. Read it somewhere recently. Figure that was mentioned was 3.5 mill
  18. Days spent on top of the Premier League this season: Arsenal 128, Chelsea 64, Liverpool 59, Man City 12. The standings are in Reverse order though.
  19. Lambert is a Liverpool supporter too, isn't he?
  20. What separates Suarez from most people is his desire to keep trying. Borini, for me, is similar in terms of character. Whenever I have seen him play, hes shown plenty of heart, always running, willing to track back and is the kind of player that would run through brick walls which is what BR wants. We should keep him and let go of gutless ppl like Moses.
  21. No left back? Who's gonna replace Cissokho after his loan spell ends. I know hes irreplaceable to some :P
  22. I don't know how I am gonna cope with diego costa in that chelsea team next season. gotta watch over my bp lest I become real bitter
