Most carpenters have received an approx 20 - 30 % wage increase since last spring. Obviously world events have taken over. We wouldn't even be discussing working class wages if not for Brexit. The bottom 20-30% suffered twenty years of wage stagnation, they didn't even enter the conversation. I'm not sure we'd see this Union rebirth if not for Brexit. Workers have finally found their voice again.

Obviously inflation has risen to unprecedented levels since and their is still a massive disparity between those having hugh rises at the top (bankers etc) and those having small rises at the bottom, the poorest in the entertainment sector have particularly been hit hard.

Well considering it comes at roughly the same time as the Amnesty report on civilians being used as human shields (and despite the bots bluster I'd be amazed if Amnesty published that report without it being true) that article could be a propagandist masterstroke from the Zelenskyys.
