  2. Usual insensitive, lack of thought way. And the usual shit 3 word slogan too. Just change it to 'blah blah blah' - more apt. https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/brexit-news/westminster-news/qa-government-adverts-on-ballet-dancers-2893802
  3. Lockdowns are the bluntest, crudest instrument...deployed when too useless to operate the more effective instruments properly.
  4. This is one of the big reasons i hate international footy so much...we are all meant to 'come together' but bottom line is club loyalties always run deeper, and club biases etc will always take over. Can't stand idea of one week standing watching chelsea fans for example waving £50 notes at us, singing murderers, always the victim, sign on etc then the next we are all supposed to be mates as we all cheer for Ingerlund. Fuck off

  9. Yeah....cunts. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54481945
  10. True, but he is particularly bad at one aspect of the game that is pretty fundamental to how we play....we are gonna have to change that to minimise the risk he causes now.
  11. We have got to smack these gobshites back down and fucking hard, really really dead fucking hard.
  12. Be funny when they can't serve them any ale....or whatever those sort of quims drink.
  13. After a few days to at least try and have this sink in, it still feels unreal. To let in 7, fucking 7 against Aston fucking Villa, Aston fucking Villa - it is just mind boggling. Part of me says it has opened up a concealed wound in the team and from here on in we are gonna be like an old fighter with loads of scar tissue that can open up at any time and bleed like fuck....but then the bigger part of me says that this team hardly ever loses and has wracked up 97 and 99 pts last two seasons and won the European Cup and the league title, a bad (very very very) day at the office can be excused/forgiven - albeit it deeply humiliating.....we haven't become shite because of one disastrous day. Our defending hasn't been up to scratch from front to back for a while - hopefully this is a wake up call and a reminder to the team of the level they need to maintain if they want more success. Fucking 7 though, it is mad - Watford last season is the sort of 'bad day' that can every now and then happen....what happened Sunday is a once in a lifetime job (57 years since last shipped 7) let's hope it is 57 years and more until it is seen again. The reaction to this over next few games is gonna tell us a lot.
  14. Zero chance he'll play anytime soon. Achterberg added: “Now he is here, we have to improve [him]. He is still young, there is no pressure because there is still a long road and we don’t want to create any pressure for him because there is still work to do. “First of all, you need to let him settle down, find his way. He needs to learn the speed, the kind of game in England is different than in Brazil, it’s a lot faster and there’s more aggression in it. All that stuff you have to calculate as well to work on a little bit"
