  1. I think all of our centre backs look error prone because of our high risk approach and the lack of an imposing goalkeeper. But for me Skrtel is one of the best in the league, right up there with Kompany, and rightly played every game.
  2. True. Although he doesn't need to be great when he has it. He can give it to someone who is.
  3. Why does he need a leader next to him? At £16m can you not expect the finished article? Presumably he has leadership qualities of his own to be made captain of PSG.
  4. It's probably too early to judge the price tag. You'd expect a £15m centre back to nail down a first team place for a club with our budget. So far he's been in and out of the team.
  5. Picked up a superslim 120gb for £70.
  6. Gotta be the German Cup final for me. Watch it every year with a crate of Becks.
  7. Do you think you could be a bit more obscure/specific?
  8. That's a relief as there's little margin for debate when confronted with such dogmatic views.
  9. The hyperbole around the game is daft. When Alan Shearer was analysing the Chelsea game for MOTD he focussed on Lampard and said something about him sprinting 10 yards, and how it was "amazing" for a 35 year old man to put in such effort. Football has disappeared up its fundament.
  10. *awaits xerxes saying something about "unchartered territory"*
  11. Without getting too bogged down in legal history I believe that the preachings of the bible shaped many of the laws of the land. Is there anything about rape being cool in the Koran? I haven't read it, so I wouldn't know and will have to accept your word for it if that's what it says. I wouldn't say that religion is solely responsible for holding back our customs and traditions. That seems to be too simplistic, for me. I suppose the point I'm trying to make, probably quite clumsily, is that all civilizations have subjugated women whether using religion as a tool or not.
  12. 12.9 million incidents: The British Crime Survey found that there were an estimated 12.9 million incidents of domestic violence acts (that constituted non-sexual threats or force) against women and 2.5 million against men in England and Wales in the year preceding interview (Walby & Allen, 2004).
  13. Our laws, customs and traditions codify it. There's little difference.
  14. Women have always been subjugated in all societies. It doesn't need a religion to verify it. Glass ceiling, anyone?
  15. It's in their blood. Most of the fans are from Malaysia.
  16. Haha. Remmie knows best. There's like shops and restaurants and stuff. Everything is easy to find.
