I think it's unfair that Heskey is now a joke figure in football. He was a decent player at Liverpool. Not great by any means and pissed me off no end at times, but he doesn't deserve the ridicule he gets today by people probably too young to remember how well he played at times for Liverpool. PS. Does anyone remember which game it was when Heskey ran 70 odd yards during a break without a defender in sight and Owen alongside him, only to hit a tame shot at the 'keeper? That really pissed me off.

The Gerrard question could define our season. We look more balanced with Allen, Lucas and Henderson in the midfield. I don't know where Gerrard would come into it if we play those 3. Rodgers needs to show a bit of spine and be ready to make a tough call regarding Gerrard because if he persists to play Gerrard in this unfamiliar position we are going to collapse and crash out of the top 4.

Terrible result against a team that's been mediocre all season. Rodgers has fucked up and now also has an injury to Lucas to contend with. What a depressing performance that was. We were slightly better in the 2nd half but that's not saying much at all, and we would probably have struggled had Agbonlahor not been injured. I hope we don't see Gerrard in that deep role again, he was awful in the first half.
