Going to cover my eyes watching this one.

I can't stomach these shite performances. In Brendan's first season we lost a few times but played well in those defeats and the potential was clear to see. Now we are losing whilst playing shite. We win some playing shite too - apparently that's a good sign. Bullshit. Our performances have been diabolical and that's completely down to the manager. Brendan took all the plaudits last season and now he has to take the flak too. He has not been good enough and needs to sort this mess out, otherwise make way for someone who can turn us around.

The most depressing Champions League campaign in our history. And it was a mediocre group barring Madrid.

It should not have been about tonight. Brendan's appalling surrender at the Bernabeu tells you how much priority he put into this competition. For a Liverpool manager not to take the European Cup seriously is shocking. I was really sold on Rodgers but this European campaign has been disgraceful by our standards and our league form and the manager's inability to turn it around despite having better resources than most is startling. I think Rodgers is on borrowed time and if he does get chopped, he can't have many excuses.

Think he might be gone if we lose next week. He's been totally clueless this season and has been found out after Sturridge got injured (and Suarez left).

Took us until the 80th minute for us to start playing. Way too late by then. Now we have the Europa League to look forward to. Hurrah.

Henderson is a shadow of the player he was last year. Gone back to being pointless IMO.

Dreadful performance so far and deservedly behind. Need to bring on Coutinho to have any hope of creating a worthwhile chance.

Ronnie has bottled big leads in finals before. It's happening again although in fairness he couldn't do a lot in the last few frames.

Fowler. Houllier's legacy will always be tainted for me for selling Fowler for what were (in my opinion) personal problems with Robbie. A successful Fowler-Owen partnership could have won us the league.

Another in a long line of piss poor performances that you'd expect from a team in the bottom half of the table, not a team that spent £100M this summer and almost won the title last season. Rodgers does not seem to be able to get the team to play consistently well and I think he's just pinning his hopes on Sturridge coming back to turn our fortunes. I don't expect to see Sturridge coming back any time soon. By the time he's back and fit enough to start making a difference the top 4 will be out of sight.

Not a single shot on target at home vs Sunderland. Dreadful.

You'd put your faith in John Henry to choose a manager? He wouldn't trust himself to make a good decision that's why he has Ayre and Werner to make the big calls.
