Could anyone put that picture up of Agger taking him out in that game last year please? It was a beautiful moment, in a day that was great all round, the only black spot, is that the scorer of the winner that day, turned out to be a treacherous swine too, ah well, you can't have it all.

Adam was unlucky to be sent off imho that day, we were horrendous, but the referee gave them absolutely everything that day, that's not to say he influenced the result, but it didn't really help matters.

As Suarez is mixed race, can we assume then, that all booing from those animals be considered racist?, given that poor little Patrice was subjected to such "vile racist booing" (tm The Red Tops)? Fat chance.

The ironic thing here, is that Carroll seems to be finding form, but might find himself out of the team due to Suarez' return, front three of Suarez/Bellamy/Carroll would be nice. I feel the game will be won or lost in midfield, my worry is the likes of Modric and van der Vaart having too much craft for the likes of Adam or Spearing, although Spearing has come on leaps and bounds in that shielding role. The likes of Gerrard will need to be on top form.

I liked him as a player, dislike him as a pundit, why do I dislike him as a pundit? He repeats the same cliche ridden dross ad infinitum, offers absolutely no insight into tactics/team selection/anything in fact, which is pretty much the rule for "pundits" in the UK. Aside from that he seems a nice lad, but some see him as a cunt in a kind of "guilty by association" because of his father. -
Has he expressed his outrage yet at the Mongrel charged with racist comments?, it's just, for the sake of consistency I'd have thought he would have, after all, he was on a junket to Doha when the Oldham player, was allegedly abused at Anfield and he was on his Ivory Tower at 2:30am (local time in Doha) expressing disgust via Twitter. I'd don't follow the massive prick, so I don't know if he has given us the benefit of his wisdom on the subject yet.

It's a stupid system, and has been on any forum I've ever been on that has it, if someone "negged" you in the past for not liking one oo a series your posts, they then take it upon themselves to give you a negative everytime you post, I have -551000 or something, I really don't know why, or care for that matter, it introduces a truly childish dimension to a football forum which I would hope promotes discussion without dropping to an Orwellian RAWK style level of locking threads like it's going out of fashion.

That's a top post NorwegianRed, that's what the team is missing, the explosive element, Suarez and Bellamy are our only real pacey threats with the ability to conjure something from nothing. For me (personally) Commoli isn't earning his corn, the majority of what we got in the summer were overpriced British players, with mixed results, wasn't Commoli brought in to unearth gems for a fraction of this cost?, as if that is his remit, they he has failed miserably thusfar.

I'm not a fan of Adam and he was appalling in the first half, but he redeemed himself well in the second half, if he could improve his decision making and not always try to shoot/launch a 40 yard pass at any opportunity then he could turn out to be a real asset.

I think what it all boils down to is A.John Terry (or JT to Holt/Deryshire) is Englands brave warrior captain, and, B.Luis Suarez is a nasty horrible evil foreign devil. That's about the jist of it. If I was Suarez or Liverpool I'd ask for an immediate inquiry.

Downing and Adam have all the hallmarks of players playing for the likes of (all due respect to them) perennial mid table teams like Aston Villa or Newcastle, Downing has never really shown anything in all his career to suggest he was either, worth the fee paid, or that he could come in, and do a fabulous job on the left side for Liverpool, in a year Downing will be 29......where would the resale value be then. I'm all for giving our players as much of a chance as possible, but has Downing had even 1 stand out performance so far?

I like Defoe, nippy wee striker, plenty of pace, knows where the goal is, would work well in a front three with Suarez and Bellamy, pace and trickery to burn.

Not that it means anything tanglible at all, but Skybet have just made Defoe 1/5 to sign for us, can't see it myself, Skybet are always miles out ffs.

At this stage just any striker or winger with pace would do for me lol.
