  1. Reading, loan spells at Shrewsbury and Charlton. Bench warming at Hoffenheim where that useless twat Babel was getting a game, Swansea. Hardly fucking Messi is it? 30k a week more Spurs are paying. More fool them. Well in Brendan lad!
  2. Calm down. The bild article translates as spurs would like to sign him for 10m euros.....not he has agreed to sign for them. I'd be more than fucked off having worked with him for a good bit of last season that Gylffi stuck two fingers up to Brendan and went to managerless, Europa cup Spurs. Plus isn't Babbel the Hoffenheim manager, surely he's had a word!?
  3. A very shrewd and welcome appointment IMHO. The club needs a clean start and a clear plan instead of the aimless, slow deterioration we have seen since Istanbul. Welcome Brendan.
  4. They ain't gonna sack him. And I doubt they would have insulted him with an upstairs role, they're not stupid IMO. While he still retains the majority of fans support, they know it's going to be damaging to he dreaded 'brand' word. Dalglish had always maintained that he would always put the club before his own interests and nothings changed. If he still feels he can produce a credible challenge next year, then they should respect that after he stepped into the breach and guided us out of the bottom three after Woy's disastrous tenure. It's been a season of failure one to put behind us. It's not as if theyve delivered anything on stadium investment, the one thing these Yanks and their business connections were expected to deliver. This is more disappointing as finishing 8th and a Carling Cup. They need to take this club off the back pages of every sleazy rag, back Kenny and give him the proper support in the boardroom and concentrate on a better calibre of player than mo diame if they're serious aboyr restoring this club to past glories and the highest of standards on and off the field.
  5. Can't see Stevie Clarke hanging round for a baseball match, if him and Kenny are down the road, can anyone else? Where is the Director of Communications when you need him. Oh yeah, they sacked him. Some sort of clarity is required soon to top this side show
  6. No, but unlike most of the signings in the last 10 years worth every penny of the money spent on signing him and his contracts.
  7. I see this Rasmus Elm's not sure if he wants to leave AZ Alkmaar and is waiting till end of Euro's before making any decisions. JUst the right sort of qualities we need, someone in there comfort zone, and about the only Scando who wouldn't walk over hot coals to play in the red shirt! No thanks Kenneth!
  8. No fan of his, but peddling that sack of shit Stewart Downing to us for £20m was worth another season in itself, surely? Plus another £18m for Young and what was he allowed to spend £8m on Nzogbia and nowt on Shay Given, who kept them in the Premiership. Those two supporting a load of journeyman bought by the maestro that is O'Neill and Ged Houllier and a boatload of kids from the reserves. I'm suprised he kept them up!
  9. Spearing is not good enough back up for a club that has serious intentions of top 4.
  10. Mr Consistency has become horribly inconsistent. Nothing ever lasts for ever. Time for him to step back and us recognise what a momentous player, model pro and all round LFC legend he is.
  11. He's making some dreadful selection errors at the moment. I don't get the benching Carroll thing, not at home to Wigan. Suarez is a great player but he was so isolated in the first half, he was ineffective against three centre halfs. Carroll, gerrard and Suarez started against Everton and we got a result. And why isn't Maxi getting a look in? Hendersons confidence is in bits, why not start Jonjo? Best thing he did today was blood Sterling, albeit 20 minutes too late. The team is letting him down badly in the leagues and yet he continues to blow smoke up their collective arses. One thing he needs to address in the summer if he's still in job is pace. We are as slow and predictable as fuck.
  12. Vastly improved performance on Tuesday, particularly second half. Touch better, imposed himself on the game, one or two encouraging links with Suarez, strong defensively as well. Going in the right direction.
  13. It was never going to work for him at Chelsea, the club is run by the 'old guard' of Drogba, Fat Frank and Mongo, and they won't let him in. Even if Drogba fucks off at the end of the season, he's got the task of filling his shoes / competing with another multi million pound star striker that the russian gangster will spunk his billions on. Given the choice of being at Chelsea and still being with us, I reckon the latter. He'd have at least one medal in the bag this year. What glory is there in being a bit part, goalless laughing stock in a team that made the CL quarter finals?
  14. Too many average players. Too much rotation of average players, no consistency of tactics, formation and team selection. Up front there is an over- reliance on Suarez, who great player that he is, is not nearly clinical enough in front of goal. We persist on playing Jordan Henderson on the right hand side, which has not been successful once this season. And yet, Chalie Adam is given preference in the central midfield despite showing the same kind of form that's saw Rangers offload for 500k to the mighty Blackpool. Carroll shows a bit of promise in the PL then has a crap game at Wembley and is shown the bench for the next two. And when Carrolls on the pitch, Downing, our only natural winger and who was our best player at Wembley, and one of our better players against Arsenal, is nowhere to be seen. Love Kenny but his team selection, tactics and substitutions have smacked of Roy of late. We need to beat the bitters and kick on from there.
  15. Ross Barkleys another Jack Rodwell, massively overhyped. Stephen Sama has played great as well. Infact whole team done great and 3nil wouldnt have flattered the lads!
  16. The Everton keepers prevented a landslide. The refs clearly blueshite.
  17. A chance taken, at relatively modest cost, that appears to have paid off thus far. That's the point.
  18. Suso, adorjan, ecclestone and Sterling outstanding.
  19. These kids are shitting on Everton without the reward. Brilliant effort from Sterling after great break!
  20. We are by far the better team but we are as guilty as the first team of not taking great chances. Sterling could have had 3 in 25 minutes.
  21. Steady on fella. Not dissing Suarez just don't think he's shit of a shovel and 10 in 34 is hardly prolific. Even Dirk got 70 in 100 in Eredivisie. Love Suarez to bits, but he's the type of player who creates chances for himself rather than 6 yard tap ins from what I've seen to date. Easy now.
  22. Agreed, I'd love one or two of them to stake a claim. Thought Coates might have got a runout.
