  1. I'll admit to not paying attention, but has that super huge planning permission application not landed on the City Hall Servers yet?! Been uploading for quite some time now!
  2. We seem to be hitting top form, just as we approach the run in, which is good for us, I reckon.
  3. The only one I'd actually disagree with is the Gold Reebok kit, which is Danny Murphy for me. The Grey Candy was my first football kit. It's still a thing of absolute beauty.
  4. Minus 102 points would be more appropriate. David Luiz between Chelsea & PSG probably on that list!
  5. I'd have Coutinho back for what it's worth on the basis that Jurgen gets in his head & he wants to come here. That said, my offer to Barcelona would be zero, advising them to rip up his contract and let him walk for free. And my offer to Coutinho would be a smaller pay packet than he had when he left, with an extra German-hug each week. Is that unreasonable? Yes, absolutely, but why should Liverpool be reasonable to either party given their past behaviour? Basically he'll have to want to come here more than he wants the money to come here & I wouldn't be given Barca the shit off my shoe to facilitate it.
  6. Actually, isn't the rule that the FA (possibly the clubs involved) get fined a paltry amount? I seem to remember games happening in the past on a CL night due to some fixture congestion. If they're knocked out by Real Madrid, they may well have a spare Tuesday or Wednesday to play the game.
  7. I see what you're saying re: the Neymar fee, but equally, the cost of VVD & Becker wouldn't have been as extortionate, so relatively it may all have worked out. Klopp, Edwards & Gordon is why we are where we are, and FSG put those in place. Credit where it's due.
  8. Is Hoever older than Van d Berg? Physically, seems slighter of the two from what I've seen of them (which isn't much). I think in the main, those three decisions make sense long term, but are they ready for next season? Jones I'm prepared to give the benefit of the doubt to based on what I've seen. Williams & Hoever might be a tad ambitious?
  9. Agree on these two entirely. Jones was excellent & took it by the scruff of the neck. He’s got bags of character. As for the rest of the squad, Michael Edwards will be sharpening his pencil this morning on values.
  10. I have to say, I was quite surprised by that... I basically haven't looked at the points column in a couple of months because I just thought, well we're top and it's only November / December / January... and yet there it is. 70 (SEVENTY) points. In JANUARY. Nuts.
  11. I’d start the same XI in the replay & stack the bench with kids. Last season the FA Cup final was the week before the end of the league? The CL final was three weeks after that?
  12. Is the training ground performing twice as well this year?!
  13. If the Club continue to operate their own shops, presumably they get more of the cash spent on kit in them?
  14. I was wondering his age when they were going through some of the others on the commentary. Average age of the back four after Milner’s departure of 20?
  15. Wasn't there a tenuous link with Jamal Lewis in the summer window as back up at left back? Perhaps we are actually looking at him as back up.
  16. That was immense. Kept thinking Leicester will have a spell. Didn’t really happen. Blew them away. best performance of the season. Slap bang in the middle of a silly number of games in December. Klopp is a genius, he might be the second coming. It’s outrageous. I’m running out of superlatives. fuck.
  17. Agree, he was superb. I'd have have said MotM personally.
  18. The coolest man on the planet. Telling their rugby full back to get back in his seat was superb too. Love him.
  19. Would the Club not have better pitches at the Academy which would suit the numbers of spectators interested (I've no idea how many people turn up to watch the ladies to be honest) for the majority of games?
  20. Bizarre that I thoroughly enjoyed watching us play in a game we lost 5-0 in. Bossed it in may ways and at 2-0, I reckon if we'd scored next we'd have won it, such was our control & Villa's shitness. A few looked a bit raw, a few mistakes here & there, but as mentioned Eliott looks class, Hoever looks like he'll make it, and quite a few of the rest were very tidy. As they develop, physically, they'll all have bright futures in the game you'd imagine.
