Why isn't (for want of a better phrase) the woke world targeting all the brands associating themselves with City and questioning why they are choosing to align themselves and/or provide their players with lucrative sponsorship deals? When it's straightforward misogyny, racism, ageism or because 200 years ago the company founder dropped litter regularly in the local park, brands are backpedaling, furiously apologising and seeking ways to rectify the egregious position they have found themselves in. Is calling out these brands for aligning with and leveraging the illicit successes delivered by this regime beyond today's outrage? Most brands these days are caught up trying to navigate and ensure they have implemented policies on equality, diversity and inclusion in their workplace and supply chain. I wonder how many of those policies would get any traction over there? City's own(ed) sponsoring brands is one thing obviously, but questioning player sponsorships deals invites media coverage and raises specific questions of integrity to both brands and players.

Had some good nights out there years ago with some mates who went to college down there. But having said that, as you can all probably attest, when you're out with your mates and have access to beer, pretty much anywhere is a good laugh. That said, one night I got chatting to someone who'd lived there for years and he said the problem was that it was in a low point in the country, so basically sat at the bottom of a natural basin and all the countries negativity drained in to it.

It was just an unfortunate ladder in his tights.

Robertson jogging back after losing possession has to stop. Get the ball early to Diaz, he scares the crap out of them. Stop giving the ball away. Tighten up our right hand side. -

Come On Liverpool!!! -
Country Owners 2 will want to beat Country Owners 1, or heads may well roll.

Pickford made that save then threw down a cocksure walk that looked like his nipples were repelling magnets and he was simultaneously clenching to prevent from shitting his kecks.

Unfortunately they already spend way more than they earn on a signing section.

6 degrees of separation and all that. I wouldn't be surprised if by less than that he is probably in some way connected to one of the 97. Hope he is identified and beyond any punishment, he has the shame of having to look those people in the eye and explain himself.

Maybe the football Gods can’t prevent them boring their way through most competitions every year, but perhaps for this year they can grant us the greatest achievement, one that will never been emulated by those in cheat mode.

Coming through! -
My deepest condolences Dave. Try to celebrate their lives rather than mourn their deaths.

I hope you walk behind a car and crack your shin on a tow bar.

I wouldn't even think 'karma' in a situation like this, because you couldn't wish that anyone (or their families) would have to suffer anything remotely comparable with that horrific event. One can only hope, that the minds that would contemplate a comment like that (or click to 'Like' it) are young and not fully formed yet and therefore do not have their moral compass developed. Perhaps at a later date, when self reflecting, they endure a pang of shame that remains a consistent and regular companion in their life.

We’ve had some good spells but no real end product. Juve have looked the more threatening.

It’s crept in more and more in the last two years, so it was interesting to see Klopp spitting feathers today, when previously he hasn’t. I suspect you’re on the money @Caramac that goal difference maybe on Klopp’s mind if we can take this to the wire.

Never seen Klopp so angry about our lack of passing / poor passing. Expect Klopp to have them working on it in the next few days. Salah’s bollocking was a little unfair as there wasn’t really a pass to play and Diaz tried to play it to Jota but left it too late after a poor touch left the ball behind him slightly. I remained angry throughout the game due to lack of red card for their goalie’s assault and lack of any protection from their constant shithouse fouling tactics. Maupay’s foul on Allison was worth a VAR look as well, as he had no intention of playing the ball, which incidentally wasn’t there anymore either. 2 nil move on.
