  1. Was pleased with Borini, but I think he faded too much in the 2nd to be named top three. Suarez Lucas Gerrard gets my vote.
  2. Watched through a poor stream...but noticed that the first time the camera found Joe Allen in the stand, the commentator went along the lines of Kevin Keen former coach were present to have a look at Liverpool before the season opener. Ace! He was almost as clueless as that Code fella.... almost. Great report. Scorsese thinks any good team needs an Italian in it. Obviously an Italian that is not Padelli, Dossena or Aquilani.
  3. Bellamy Agger Skrtel Agger and Skrtel get the votes more for others incompetence than their own performance. Bellamy in a league of his own, and Agger and Skrtel the least poor from the rest.
  4. Not easy at all. Many players deserving of praise today. Skrtel Lucas Reina
  5. Skrtel. Immense. Our most underrated player. Been superb for close to a year now, and still some doubts him. Lucas. Quietly effective and become an important first team player. Johnson. Struggled a little when Chelsea doubled on him. But slowly coming back to full match fitness, and popped up with a goal of the season contender. The sublime first touch made the diffrence.
  6. Suarez Lucas Carroll Skrtel did very well in the 2nd. Agger very good at lb, and Henderson and Spearing also unlucky to miss out.
  7. Skrtel has been superb the whole season, bar his performance at right back against Spurs. In fact he has been very good ever since Kenny returned. In my opinion, he is probably the most underrated player at the club.
  8. A lot of fun going through those. As a moviemaker I have to go for Monty goes to bollywood. Some superb talents in there!
  9. Skrtel Spearing Lucas Crazy match. If I make a movie of this match, it would have been slaughtered for being a clichè. The typical last second goal in slow motion. Loved the way the kids stepped up and performed like seasoned pro`s. Brilliant stuff. Reina. A kid in GK years. Flanagan a kid. Skrtel. Still young. Robinson a kid. Spearing only 22 Lucas only 23 Shelvey only19 Suarez only 24 Carroll only 22 Loads of players that will only improve, and while the squad is currently thin. In a year or two, we will have a very well balanced squad.
  10. Bloody hell. I`ve been lurking around and you are a piece of work. You cant make up guys like you, cos no one real cant be as boring as you. If you were a movie, you`d be waterworld.
  11. I think he is still here. I seem to remember Comolli or Roy mention him in interviews, but I am not totally certain.
  12. My take: This is a general view, not really directly regarding Carragher. I am old enough to remember the days of Bob Paisley. He could look like your favourite uncle, and come about softly spoken. But he was absolutely ruthless. One of his main attributes, and one that made him hugely successful was that he did`nt hold on to players too long. Many players, and fan favourites were replaced just when they started to wane, even if they were still good players. Phil Thompson rarely figured after he was 27. Playing with injuries to keep his place for years took it`s toll, and as soon as Paisley saw him regressing, he was out. Same with Jimmy Case, Ray Kennedy, Terry McDermott, Steve Heighway and Ray Clemence to name a few. Im pretty sure had internet been invented in the late 70`s and early eighties quite a few fans would have called him a cunt for treating legends like that, despite the huge success. Carragher, just as an example, still has a part to play, but he is clearly not consistently at the level he was 5 years ago, and his time is nearing it`s end. We as fans should prepare ourselves for him being replaced, without it being disrespecting a club legend. Off course, should Carra be replaced, it has to be for a better player, and so far we havent signed players good enough to replace him. I think Ferguson learned alot from Paisley, in the way that he has let quite a few of his stars go, when they were still good players. That way he got good money from them, that he have been more often than not reinvested wisely. Doesnt stop him from being an absolute cunt, though. To become successful again, I think we need to find that ruthless streak again, combined with tactical awareness and the ability to spot a player. Attributtes which the current management set up clearly lacks.
  13. True. I would rather play Carragher centre midfield than Poulsen and If we were blessed with a decent back up goalkeeper, I would have preferred playing Reina instead.
  14. Well, he is digging his own grave.
  15. Well... Your face, your ass.... What`s the difference??
