1. arguing on the internet is like the special olympics. shit.
2. is there going to be a wafa thread everytime he appears in the media now? always resulting in the same debates. Have we got up to the net spend bit yet? i like that bit.
3. Who was the first? Sorry, my Swedish is terrible. I really don;t think a player would get much abuse if they came out. I know I have sung on the kop about where Le Saux likes to take it, but that was more because he is a blatant twat and we knew it would do his head in- although it wouldn't help any young footballer watching thinking about coming out. Neither would everyone laughing at Fowlers antics against Le Saux, which I did at the time.
4. kenwright seems alright in this
5. ah nothing the f.a need us to sell it to a global audience too, but we dn't get the same favouritism,( try spelling that after a bottle of wine) hmm brown envelope glove compartment, rafa's rant may become prophetic in time.
6. innit The Donahue sisters will meet us in France In penguins and pearls, we'll drink and we'll dance 'Til the end of our days, cause it ain't left to chance That we win Cause the fix, the fix is in
7. not towing the party line can only result one way Davey Whelan, and that is terrible refereeing decisions sendng your club to the championship. We'll see. Who decides who refereees what game? Mr Ferguson? indeed.
8. I love this picture for many reasons, but Samuels grim flabby mouth at the top of the picture really makes me happy.
9. how weird, are you in wellington? i was just talking about it. i am moving there in may. is it nice? oh and erm, reds are shite etc
10. that's very true about the tea bars, made me laugh. good point about mince pies, very over rated. It would never happen at a prem club that. Even though these clubs are practically all struggling to survive you find they are alot more generous and community spirited. paying £44 fr your ticket and godknowshowmuchnow for your programme and they wouldn;t give you a fucking cup of tea without charging when i was a steward. tight arses. £90,000 every week for Joe Cole and the stewards on minimum wage have to pay for a brew and stand in the cold all night. there is even less point to supporting marine as they can't get promoted as their ground has only 3 sides.
11. haha that's a good one. at marine once we lost 11-2 to shrewsbury, thrashed in the gay meadow you could say. the next game started badly and one fella shouted,' come on lads, why do you only start playing when we're 8 nil down?' which caused a bit of laughter. at a chelsea game, i think the carling cup final when gerrard scored the oggy, Mourinho was standing in front of us and inbetween our loud songs you couldn;t hear a thing from their support. a fella shouted 'oi jose, don't you wish you had fans like ours?' to which Mourinho stopped and slightly turned his head towards us and raised an eybrow. always thought he was alright after that tbh
12. the birkey is better if you make the short trek but the bug is good for post match pint , sometimes with the players past and present, which explains some of the lard arses. there's alot of advantages to lower league footy. at least i thought the was when i started typing but i can't think of any now. the bond with the players and reasonable ticket prices. it used to be good at marine in the big cup games at half time, both sets of fans would walk past each other on the pitch to swap ends and banter each other, I remember a marine fan kicking in a inflatable mr blobby that the southport fans had brought with them to take the piss out of chris camden,a rather large fellow.a funny sight. what was my original point? er, don;t know if i have one. hope this helps
13. Only one team can get away with this, fact. Only one player is never punished, even if you can see on the bidio, fact, ..is amazing.
14. Marine is a good one, and I always thought the pub was decent next to the ground, called 'the bug' locally(the edinborough). you get a decent crowd if liverpool aren't playing at the same time. and the chippy is pretty good i would agree. what more can you want? decent football?? no chance!
15. ah right of course, didn;t know where braga was. they must be pissed off though, imagine if everton were in the latter stages of the competition and we had to play at home first. a big ask i know. big advantage i reckon for us. not complaining.
16. goodness! you certainly are the rebellious characters of this online community!
17. because you rule it? you must be so proud. or do you just spend a lot of time on it saying naughty words? is it your deflating lack of capability to operate anything technological that has your insecurities manifest themselves as a pretense against those that embrace technology? what i am saying is, do you listen to records and cry wank?
