  1. YOU ARE JOKING! WHY? What was the point in me sitting on it for years for them to do that~?
  2. If he has got himself into a cycle of, poor performance so he is low in confidence and then because of low confidence he has poor performance, then you, as his manager need to take him out of that situation. If possible give him a different task, take him with you on a few errands, just get the bloke of his 'un-comfort zone' What somebody said on here before about praise is right. You need to compliment him. But the worst thing you can do is ignore the issue and not talk to him about it, hes not daft, he knows you that you know! Just tell him it happens to everyone, including you. But you have to be strong enough to get through it and you believe he is! (even if you dont) Tell him you have every confidence in him and that there is no pressure on him, so he just needs to work through it with your help. The lack of pressure thing is important. He cant improve when he has all that going on in his head. "will they sack me?" "why am i so shit" "what are management thinking about me?" "im shit at my job" "why cant i do this?" "is there something wrong with me?" I hope you get it sorted mate. Its a shit situation to be in, i understand. As a good manager, (which im sure you are) you need to help him through by putting yourself in his shoes, BUT, it is also important to know when enough is enough. Some people just cant be rescued mate, and although its important to try, you need to keep that in mind. He needs to work just as hard (if not harder) towards fixing it as you do, so if he doesnt/wont/cant then maybe its time to part company. Hope I have been of some help. Sorry if not.
  3. I didnt think that was the case. I thought if the ref booked him for it, ie a yellow card, no further action could be taken. However, if he has done nothing, regardless as to whether he saw it or not it can now be investigated. I may have that wrong but thats they way i understood it.
  4. Yeah, wasn't it confirmed as a possibility in November? I do feel sorry for people who have wasted money on a flight on the wrong date though, however, it could have been avoided just by checking the offal.
  5. You heard the Arjen Robben one yet? Story goes after fights with a few teammates, including most recently Thomas Muller, he wants to move to the Prem and we have had contact. He wants to come to us and we want him... Thats the rumour anyway. Although, if you read certain websites its actually rather funny. We have been linked with 500+ players this month hahaha. Always amazes me that these rumours tend to come out on the day (or day after) the team are/have played on English Tele.
  6. Essien. Cracking player. Hes my Current favorite non-Liverpool prem player. And as some have mentioned Henry is my all time favorite. Two players who I would have loved to have seen at Liverpool.
  7. Aww thats good! I hope he plays a part, no matter how small, i think it would do the lads confidence the world of good.
  8. Does anyone know if young Coady is injured? He didn't play for u18s today. Or are we expecting him to be in the first team squad tomorrow?
  9. Exclusive Stevie training pics - Liverpool FC Stevie is back in training. The offal appear to be trying hard to silence these rumours that Stevies injury is worse than they are telling us. Good to see him back though. I like this one hahaha
  10. Does that apply to both Xbox and PS3 or are they at separate times? About time though! Thanks for the info Popper.
  11. I agree mate. I feel a clear out of this size would take a couple of seasons. I cant see all this being done in the summer. The other thing is, if we buy young talented players, some of these players will want to move on, as it stands they still stand a chance or get into the current squad. If that changes so will their attitude towards going. In my opinion.
  12. haha. If im honest im still a little concerned about moving players on, and ill explain why. N'gog may not be the best striker in the prem (hes not the worst though, that a bit harsh) but he can do a job. Too many times have we let players go and not replaced them. IF we buy someone better to replace him then it should be done. Do you see where im coming from? I mean, look at the gap between our starting 11 players! The ability gap is massive. Now there will always be a slight gap but this is daft. If we sell players we should replace them like for like with someone better. A straight forward upgrade. Too often that hasn't happened in my opinion.
  13. Bloody hell, i didn't even realize Degen was still on our books, i thought we sold him ages ago! Does his loan deal have a 'right to buy' clause? Hows he doing anyone know? Maybe that one and the Insua sale will sort itself. I agree with all but a few of these mate. I would like to see N'gog given a bench spot (as back up) to the other lads, he does have talent we just don't see it enough. Id like to think if he bulked up and worked hard, he could be a decent squad player and for the sake of another season, may as well give it a go in my opinion. The other one is Aquilani. Although, I have no idea how he would fit in? Again maybe as a squad player in case of injury to Stevie and or Raul. He has done well at Juve and i think he (like N'gog) deserves a season to try and prove himself. Also just a quick point about the greek. He wouldn't make us that much if we sold him and he does a good job most of the time. Plus, his wages cant be that high can they? Don't see the point in shifting him on really. If his wages are high then i take it back but for me he has been a bargain signing, good player and what did we pay? few million? Other than that, i couldn't agree more.
  14. Me and the Mrs have an Astra and (my fave) a Mini cooper S. I love that car. I was a bit worried about getting a mini and im 6ft + too but, the car is amazing! There is loads of room inside as seats go all the way back and have good height setting plus, the road handling and engine in this car are spot on! Its like driving a bloody fast go-kart! Really fun car.
  15. Its my winner too. Based solely on the basis that i have been singing it ALL day. Cant get that tune out of my head!
  16. Just because its common knowledge, doesn't mean its right. Am I wrong to get frustrated about the way they carry on, lie and embellish? I'm well aware they are scum, doesn't mean i enjoy seeing my club bad mouthed. Anyway, i don't fancy spending my evening talking about this and imagine you don't either. On a lighter note, there is a nice video on the offal of Suarez goodbye at Ajax. Heres the link LFCTV Online :: Suarez's Ajax farewell
  17. I wasnt seriously implying that they did, i was just suggesting that i very much doubt that they did much to discourage it. Any fan who burns a players shirt, be it Torres or be it Gerrard, is a disgrace! Its not on. My point was that sky love it. I dont recall them using the words "one fan burned a shirt" do you? It was "Liverpool fans set fire to Torres shirts" Which is wrong.
  18. Hard to tell on here. Sorry mate.
  19. Oh aye yeah, LUCK... Wouldn't be surprised if it was SSN who bought that 14 year old lad (however old he was) the fucking petrol and matches! Torres was a great player for us. He gave us a lot of great memories, and, in some respects i will miss him. But, like everyone else i was hurt and disappointed with his behaviour and what he said, therefore as disappointing as it is, his bridges are well and truly burned. Suarez has shown Torres up here, although i dont believe for a second that will have crossed his mind, he is a gent and has shown Ajax, and the fans the respect that they have shown him. Kudos for that. To the poster before who used the word WE when referring to the shirt burning, i hope that was a typo, because i for one, like most if not all in here, remember that the name on the front of the shirt is far more important that then one on the back, therefore we would have more sense and respect that to do that... Ironicly the two things that Torres appears to be lacking.
  20. I wouldn't go that far. Money talks, the right amount can buy anyone. But what im saying is that although we may have money, we still want deals that represent good value and if we were to get Muller it would certainly not be good value, we would pay WAY over the odds.
  21. Bayern wouldnt let him go cheap though.
  22. Looks like a clever lad to me... hhhmmm ok, point taken mate. This one is better...
