  1. Holding the team together every 3 days all season, player of the year so far for me and absolute negligence bordering on the criminal if he doesn't get his new deal
  2. Matip and Gomez generally decent, Alisson absolutely brilliant, Mane good first half
  3. Andy Robertson was absolutely brilliant this evening
  4. I play football and I'm playing this morning, and I still want him kneecapped. You stupid cunt.
  5. I want Jordan Pickford kneecapped the horrible little cunt. Season defining moment for us, and he's barely getting the scrutiny he should cause he's England Keeper. Should be a ten game ban minimum
  6. All the noise makes it sounds like we'd like him, but for much less than Bayern are quoting.
  7. We should really be winning this thing hey. Although, bit less arsed than I would be as it feels a bit like the Audi cup or something this year
  8. Can see why Mbappe would love to play for us.
  9. Would love us to get Sarr, exactly the player we need. Can cover wide, rapid, huge ceiling for improvement. Loves Sadio
  10. Gini Wijnaldum is one of my favourite players and in my opinion underrated. I hope he stays but it is a tricky one, we will have to start to recycle this squad at some stage as they're all in their prime and a similar age. We wouldn't want to have to replace Salah, mane, Gini, Bobby, hendo all at the same time
  11. I was livid too all game. I think it's because it's so obvious where the drop off is in our squad. We can cover midfielders, but if Robbo and one of the front three are missing? Completely different team. We need to strengthen these positions, and the fear is we won't and we will squander our current position of strength
  12. It's not not signing him that's bothering, it's someone else signing him. Hopefully he's absolutely shit
  13. I could see the opposite, gulf in class really showing. Sitting on the edge of your own box and hoofing it in the channel is surely a bit more difficult without 30000 fans on your side
  14. Sounds like a 5 a side sports hall, fucking weird
  15. I absolutely love the idea of a universal basic income as a potential mitigation to the impact of Automation. But, as much as our government is full of utter cunts, as is currently being demonstrated, and has been demonstrated over the last couple of years with Brexit, this is a nation full of absolutely stupid, lazy, ignorant, racist pricks. So I'm not sure it would work here without a complete culture change
  16. I actually agree that if you look back at old games, and I've watched pretty much everything that's been on BBC/itv/sky/bt recently, the game is quite different. Tactically, the pitches are terrible, the boots were crap, balls heavy, players are less fit, games were technically not the level of today's top teams. But it's not a fair comparison. The fair comparison would be to take players of yesteryear and give them modern training, fitness levels, pitches, nutrition and professionalism, and see how they'd get on
  17. Apparently when we signed Collymore, Roy Evans saw him as someone who could potentially be a Ronaldo. I genuinely think English talent wise he gets undermentioned as someone who didn't live up to it. Had everything, pace, strength, dribbling, genuinely 2 footed. Just nowhere near it mentally
  18. Don't think it was even the mistakes. Felt sorry for him after that. It was the video. And that when he came back he was clearly shot to pieces. We moved pretty quickly for Alisson after that Tranmere game and never looked back, and neither should he. Wish him all the best. Embarrassing even bringing it up.
  19. This is on the club website from the statement yesterday: Does it say that staff will be paid 100 percent of salary? And does that mean the club will pay it? Liverpool FC has placed some staff who are impacted by the Premier League suspension on furlough. The club has confirmed those staff will be paid 100 per cent of their salaries to ensure no member of staff is financially disadvantaged. Last month the club also confirmed that it would pay its matchday and non-matchday staff while the Premier League is suspended. Even prior to the decision on staff furloughing, there was a collective commitment at senior levels of the club – on and off the pitch – with everyone working towards a solution that secures jobs for employees of the club during this unprecedented crisis. There is ongoing active engagement about the topic of salary deductions during the period matches are not being played to schedule. These discussions are complex and as a result the process is ongoing.
