  1. Have you already watched such a funny and carismatic Uruguayan's best football player advertisement? ;) ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0aAol5xsT8
  2. I almost forget. You'd also better know "Punta del Este" and "Colonia del Sacramento", two of the most visited and famous places by tourists in summer.
  3. In general, policemen don't make trouble about entering the stadium with banners or flags or flares. It's really an excellent reception from Nacional supporters. I'll download some videos about matches between Nacional against Peñarol (the big classic match, as well as Liverpool against Manchester United) and you'll see the reception which is really amazing. If you come to Uruguay, you know, let me know it and I'll take you to the Nacional stadium and show the rest of the city of Montevideo which is said to be the "Switzerland of América" and I back it, of course, and I also think it's kind a "Miami in miniature". Regards to both.
  4. Here's the link it shows the yesterday party of Nacional coming up the pitch. GALERÃA VS LIBERTAD Nacional has a lot more supporters. The problem is Nacional plays at his stadium (Gran Parque Central, that unlike Peñarol who doesn't have any stadium) and doesn't do it at the Centenario Stadium (the government Stadium). See the pictures, watch the videos and enjoy one of the best celebrations there are.
  5. Hi Liverpool supporters. Firstly I have to say I'm reading all your comments and I agree with all the ones who are in favour of Suárez. LFC: Sometimes the word "Sudaca" as it's used by some Europeans, has pejorative connotation because it's interpretated as the ones who live in over-developed countries of the Southamerican continent. In my opinion when an European or Northamerican call a Latinamerican "sudaca" not always pretends harm nor discriminate him, it's just a way they have to identificate us as a culture belonger of Uruguay. I personally, if I were a football player and somebody call me "sudaca" in a pitch, he surely would be calling me in a pejorative way and I would also answer him something I know he would get offended. BUT, it would never crosses my mind to denounce the one who told me "sudaca" because those are things that come only up in a football match or other competition trying to take a sporting profit about it. It's the same as saying "puto" (gay), "son of a bitch", "sorete" (shit), etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. What Evra did is doubled inqualificated in a persecution sense, if he did it in such sense with the intention of send Suárez off the Liverpool and English Football speaks really bad about him and if he did it moved by a personal cause also speaks really bad about him. As a "sudaca", I personally feel really glad about being Uruguayan, living in a conutry as Uruguay with a huge culture, a big respect upon Human Righst and individual free, upon freedom of expression, upon the tolerance towards others opinions, upon the equallity between men, and for being a country that cultivates fraternity between all its inhabitants. As I already told you we all have a good develop at all aspects in spite of being very small. I really like you to visit Uruguay, not only because of knowing Uruguay but also to know Uruguayans and his being, feel and think way. We're a small country with a big medium-class and glad about what we are. Our people works all around the world at a high grade of qualifications. Surely, if some of you got to know some Uruguayans you will understand what I'm telling to you all. Of course, there might be some other Uruguayans (as at every parts of the world), that don't hoist this values I'm telling you. If you are unfortunate enough to come across some of this kind of Uruguayans put them aside but know they do NOT represents tha mayority of inhabitants Uruguayan that it's like I'm describing it. I'll soon send you pictures of our capital Montevideo, its buildings, its beaches, its people, as well as pictures of "El Gran Parque Central" stadium of my dear Nacional. I'm seventeen years old and I'm studying Food Engineering and this year I'm expected to be on University and I hope to meet you one day in England or in Uruguay. I advice you to log in Ajax of Holland forums to generate a Luis Suárez massive support of the three countries (Uruguay, England and the Netherlands). Last night, at the Nacional match it was really impressive to see the muestras the apoyo a Luis Suárez and I'm about to download some pictures and videos about it. Regards and once more; Thumbs up for Nacional, Luis Suárez and Liverpool!
  6. I totally understand it Sir. The meaning of the word "negro" are different in your country as well as here. And such thing should be the argument to understand that Suárez didn't commit a racist attitude when he said "negro" to Evra because in his uruguayan-thinking-mind the fact of telling "negro" a black one is NOT being racist. That'd have been taking into account by the members of the court that sanctioned against Luis.
  7. Okay Heinze. It'd be by far very interesting writing an article with the statement "´Negro` is NOT offensive" as a headline and public it in an English diary or a magazine or at the BBC website. It'd be excellent but difficult my friend. Regards from Montevideo, Uruguay, South America.
  8. I tell you that one of the best things Uruguay exports is meat, more specifically beef. Here, the "asado" is so tipycal that every weekend when the sun shines families join in to make those tipycal uruguayans "asados". An "asado" is basically composed of roasted tail of rump, "chorizo", blood sausage (sweet and salt), sweetbreads, etc. Hope to join you one day here in Montevideo to make those tipycal "asados" Skaro. Regards.
  9. To BCM: Can you please tell me how my messages posted on here reached your twitter? The banners in english are: "Suárez is a Nacional supporter, Evra might be a Peñarol supporter". I tell you that Peñarol is the rival of Nacional. What happens is that Peñarol was created in 1913. The problem is that before that some of the football player of a football team called "C.U.R.C.C." (created in 1891) were the ones who took the iniciative of creating "Club Athletic Peñarol" in 1913. If you operate you see that C.U.R.C.C. were only 22 years alive whereas Peñarol is 98 years old. Well, Peñarol supporters say they're 120 years old because they add the years C.U.R.C.C. were alive plus Peñarol years old. That's one of the conflicts there're between Nacional and Peñarol (Peñarol is always stated as "the liers" wheres Nacional is the honest one). Did you understand it? As for the rest of the banners: "Suárez, Uruguay supports you" and "Luis, be strong" and "Hey Ferguson, wash your mouth out before talking about Sir Suárez" To Heinze: The word "negro" isn't offensive. The Uruguayan captain, Obdulio Varela (World Cup Champion as you may know in 1950 at Maracá) has always been known by the "black boss" and today is still talking about such great central-half as "the big black boss". Here in Uruguay we can tell "negro" to the black ones because the word "negro" and belonging the black race isn't considered offensive. You can be black as you can be white as you can be yellow as you can be whatever you are. I've got the impression that in England you can't tell "negro" to the black ones because of a kind of prejudice that from my point of view it can be perfectly seen as a racism itself. Things are what they are. If you're black there's no reason for not calling you "black". To us it's totally normal.
  10. Well, that supports my theory that they're actually looking over England forums. If I took part the management I'd be intelligent enough to watch and read what my Institution supports say. The Institution itself is made by not only the management but also by the supporters. It's in the book cover.
  11. That's funny fowler, yes it is. usernameunknown and BCM: There were a lot of banners all around the stadium as always. Are you actually watching the match via Internet?
  12. If that's true it's a disgrace. On the other hand, maybe they're actually seeing everything as if they were scapegoats so to take profit of all our comments. You never know.
  13. Actually yes, not directly but yes. There're many forums that speaks about all these kind of issues but the problem is that I don't know whether the footballers read everything what funs say when they're involved in such issues. I want to believe yes and that's why I'm always trying to make up movements in case of such footballers or others Football Institutions read it. I have a question. Do you know or do you think that FA management might be reading what we're saying at this moment?
  14. Thank you very much for your support! Libertad's Team must have something to show in the pitch if they get to such an important competition in whole America. I don't think Recoba will get some minutes because he's a bit old but if Nacional take the same attitude as did last match in which we won 2-1 against Vasco da Gama (a Vice-Champion Brazilian football Team) I think today we can do it well. Thanks again and really glad to have known you all! Thanks for all the support I'm receiving from you all such as to Nacional as well as Suárez and Liverpool. Hope to hearing from you all soon. Must dush now because Nacional is about to going out to the pitch and the kick-off is in thirty minutes. Of course I will continue debating about Suárez issue and will show you all the Nacional Stadium. Regards and as always; Thumbs up for Nacional, Suárez and Liverpool!
  15. I'm really glad about what President José Mujica and Diego Lugano said with defense to one of the best forwards in the world and hope many others Uruguayan take profit and try to say something about to defend Suárez. Luis is absolutely a good person and everything he did it was because of his ethics (something Sir Evra doesn't count with). Everything what they both said it's because Luis Suárez is loved here in Uruguay and if we compared to Evra's situation you can see it remains at a glance, Evra is always making complaint and gets always into troubles in France. A juicy information that appeared today on T.V. is that Sir Evra is not going to participate next Manchester United match because he had a bad week emotionally and he'll stay in England. What should have happened to him?
