  1. Cut from the same cloth as Arsene Wenger, though I'm not saying he's as good. For that reason, sign him up!
  2. Not entirely if this is the right place to be posting this, but anyways. As the new season is kicking off, I want to replace my old pair of Predators that are now 2 years old. My preferred boots are Adidas Predators, so I've been looking at newer models, obviously money is an issue so I'd prefer to keep it around the £40-60 mark. adidas Football Boots Predator Absolado X - TRAXION - Soft Ground - Black/White/Cyan I've been looking at these, my style isn't about pace and power, but about close control and passing. I also like to take corners and free kicks. Generally I play as a high winger in a 4-2-3-1, or behind the striker. Does anyone recommend these boots? Or know of any boots similar in style that are better around the aforementioned price range. Also, any site that's cheaper than pro-direct is also appreciated. Thanks for the help.
  3. Just to confirm, do you seriously believe Rafa had to go for failing to win the league in 6 years?
  4. It's silly to simply ask who is to blame in such an arbitrary manner. All 4 are responsible in part, but the bulk of that blame goes on the owners of course. Awful poll though.
  5. If Roy doesn't change this current system, I really do fear for where we will finish. Whereas I don't quite see relegation happening, it's not inconceivable to think we could finish around 10-17 under Roy. The next major issue, if Roy doesn't change the system and things continue along these lines, do the board have what it takes to admit their catastrophe and remove him. Then begs the issue, who the fuck would take this job on? (Please not the King). Roy is really struggling at the moment, as much as I hate to say it his press conferences and demeanour on the sidelines suggest to me that he himself knows he's out of his depth. For me, I really started to lose confidence in him when he failed to defend Torres against Slur's vile jibes. It's not too late for Roy just yet, but time is not on his side. He has 35 years of managerial experience to call upon, I sincerely hope he makes the right calls and secures us 3 points in the derby.
  6. Let's get some perspective here. Yesterday was the standard of performance we've seen all season, it wasn't a one off. And we got bossed about by Blackpool at home.
  7. I see the logic in Roy's thinking though, if we plummet right to the bottom, then the ship can't sink any lower and thus is Steadied? Then the only way is up?
  8. What can I do to fix the situation!? I'm desperate here!
  9. If the word 'relegation' came out of Rafa's mouth, what would the reaction be like? I rest my case.
  10. You just made me chuckle. Would rep you if I could.
  11. Fuck off and post in an existing thread. We know your opinion, it isn't so great and important that it needs it's own thread.
  12. I remember that. Very fondly, compared to the relegation battle of today.
  13. Petulant. I guess it boils down to what you prefer, challenging for the top four which we would be doing under Rafa? Or battling for survival as we are now?
  14. Utter fucking bollocks. I remember you revelling in Rafa's departure, this is nothing more than a Rafa basher who, now they got their way is realising the grass isn't greener on the other side. Trying to justify their support in removing the former manager.
  15. Can almost hear the banging noise of a jerking knee against a desk.
  16. Players being played out of position and not where they were signed for? Rafa out!
  17. We've got Gilly Gilly Gilly Gillespie, on the wing!
  18. Quick question, how many more of these performances must there be, before saying Hodgson is doing a poor job isn't a knee-jerk reaction?
  19. Agree with a lot of what you're saying mate. The issue is the way the club markets itself, does it reach out to the local community? Nope. I don't live around Anfield, I live near Mossley, but from what I can see, the Anfield area is in serious need of regeneration. The club don't give nearly enough back to the city, instead we see the opening of restaurants. That's disgraceful, a ploy with one goal in mind, make more money out of the fans. It won't enhance your experience in any way, will any profit go back into the city? Nope. It will go to paying off loans. OOT'ers aren't an issue either, there are many who are very passionate and knowledgeable fans. It's the ones who are oblivious to the situation at the club, who come along and will go to the restaurant, piss away money in the club shop, these fans are from everywhere including Liverpool. But in all honesty, Anfield is a mess in itself, I guess you could easily argue that the new stadium was the clubs plan to regenerate the area.
