  1. it must of been a penalty seeing as we won the game 2-1.
  2. He's a bit enigmatic. But his output speaks for itself. The finishes against Arsenal, Norwich, City and Palace slow he has something special. He's a final third player and has worked out the league in the last 3 months.
  3. Fair fucks Christian, curse you every week but that took some stones. Lovren and Moreno very good too. Great character you could say.
  4. Emre Can's a really classy operator. Milner and Hehderson really can be a tough watch. Cou and Sturridge on asap.
  5. Lallana was absolutely outstanding. Firmino and Milner also excellent, Firmino's control really really impressive. Flanno needs to be in the team every week. Please let this performance bring a change in our fortunes. Kolo boss too.
  6. Clyne's a been very good and exactly what you need and expect from a fullback. For all the criticism up his attacking play, he's notched twice and has about 2 or 3 assists. He's a very good player and one of the few I'm delighted to have.
  7. I never took to him, a very unorthodox player, can't see where or how he would fit into our team. He did play quite well Decenber to mid Feb last season however.
  8. Clyne, Can, Sakho, Gomez, Lucas, Skrtel, Milner, Henderson, Cou, Ibe, Firmino, Big Divy, Sturridge, Flanno.
  9. look at Spurs and Leicester, look where they were under 2 years ago. We have Klopp, we're gonna be alright.
  10. I think he has shown in the past 12 months a real goal scorers touch. His 2nd goal against Chelsea, his two goals against man city this season, against palace and against QPR last term were the result of good late runs into the box and a good understanding of play ahead of him. He's such a ridiculously talented player that 10 goals a season souls be at least expected.
  11. He's 23 now. His goal tally has been steadily increasing since his time here, 3 in his first half season, 5 second season, 8 last season and now 7 in 28 this term. His goal scoring output hasn't been incredible by any means, but in comparison to the likes of Gerrard, Lampard, Schole, Silva, Iniesta at the age it's no worse if not better. The penny looks like it's dropped with him, he's found a way of getting "cheap" goals, no longer relying on the spectacular.
  12. Iniesta played a lot on the left of a front 3 for Barca until recently, I agree both he and Phil are best utilised slightly deeper however.
  13. Coutinho's an absolutely phenomenal footballer that's why people rate him so highly. He's got 7 goals in 28 in an injury plagued season. Technically there's few better out there, he'd seamlessly slot into a Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona or Bayern side.
  14. Genuinely distraught with that. Won't argue with man city being the better side and the deserved winners but the way my mind works I obsess with certain points in time as though there's some way to turn back, Can's pen and Fernandinho's miss it was there you could sense it. I'm not gonna slate Henderson or Sturridge for not taking penalties, if they didn't want to take one, it's a decision they're making to benefit the team, Sturridge probably couldn't have made it to the spot to be fair. Few points, Sterling is as poor a finisher and indecisive as ever, technically a poor player who we did extremely well to get anywhere near the money we did. Lucas outstanding, should play CB for the remainder of the season. Coutinho now has 7 goals in an injury hit 28 appearances, he's about to make that next step to becoming a 10-15 goal a season man, we need to keep hold and build the team around him. Summer should see upgrades on GK, LB, Milner moved to peripheral role similar to his role at city, new CM, upgrade on Lallana and a quality replacement for Benteke.
  15. Aguero and Silva obviously frighten me. Stage is set for Sturridge though, I can't wait for this.
  16. The games against them have been absolutely infuriating events. With Sturridge, Origi, Cou and Roberto I fancy us.
  17. Fair play to the lads that free kick was horrific to watch. Buzzing for Sunday.
  18. Coutinho's technique is fucking ridiculous. Sturridge looking very sharp as well.
  19. The moralising and chastising of Rodgere on here is utterly pathetic and a poor reflection on anyone who gets involved. He seems like a genuinely nice bloke and always speaks well of and is very dignified about his time at the club. All you saints still married to your childhood sweethearts?
  20. He has good technique I'll give him that but he is devoid of every other quality a top footballer needs. Coutinho for instance is better in every facet of the game than Ozil dispite his outlier amount of "assists" this season. Ozil's goal return is poor, he doesn't get on the ball when the tough gets going, he's one paced, he's mentally weak and famously goes hiding in the bigger games.
  21. Ozil is such a myth, never seen a more overrated player, to say he goes missing in big games is an understatement.
  22. Thought you didn't watch or have an interest in football anymore?
  23. Atletico Madrid have only conceded 11 goals all season, that's incredible, dreading Simone going to England.
  24. Can takes far too much flack and expectation placed on him. He's only 22 year olds, he's still a lot to fucking learn but you can see a player in there.
