  1. Personally, I agree, only time will tell. A better communicater perhaps, a better man manager possibly? I'm clutching at straws KS, on a fucking daily basis....
  2. Never a truer word spoken, which is why he if he is appointed, he will be given a decent contract. My only hope is that Carra, Gerrard and Torres are supportive of Hodgson, but somehow I sadly doubt it.
  3. On what criteria? The ability to sit back and shut up whilst the owners and their hired help rape the club?
  4. It ain't signed, sealed and delivered yet. Still not convinced the press have a clue, a bit like our fucking board. They are all clueless. If it is Roy, then I wish him luck, because the poor fella's going to need every last drop!
  5. Whats the odds on Martin Jol?
  6. I would agree with Salcido, been very solid. And if we were looking for a centre back Diego Lugano of Uruguay as been immense.
  7. I've still got a horrible feeling its going to be the over sexed Swede. We are obviously fucking desperate. Scratching around Marseilles, wanting to speak to DIDIER as late as last Thursday means Roy ain't no shoe in. He's the only current manager woh has expressed any interest in the job, and he will be anyone's whipping boy for a large salary.
  8. He will go IMO, and he will go with a massive thank you from me. Its been a pleasure watching him develop with the club. But the lad wants glory and medals and he ain't getting them at our place any time soon.
  9. Did anyone see SSN about midnight last night with the England players touching down in Rustenberg. Ashley 'Shagrat' Cole and Ledley fucking King bounding down the steps of the plane pissing their pants laughing, followed by Fat Frank beaming like a fucking cheshire cat. If anything spells out these overpaid, overhyped 'roasting machines' commitment to the cause it was that. Barely 6 hours after being dry arse fucked by the old enemy, and these London twats think its a fucking laugh. Doubt too many of our lads who have spent there hard earned following these pricks about all over South Africa will have the same smiles as they come down the steps of there planes at UK airports today, best part of £10k lighter with fuck all to show for it other than a vuvuzela!
  10. Absolutely. From what I have seen of Roy I have no doubt he will come here with ambition believing he can do a job for the longer term, not some stop gap contract whilst the club tries to sort out its ownership problems. I don't think he will come here to roll over and die as is being proposed elsewhere by many posters. What a way to end a career!
  11. Kenny, Paco and Carra would be a decent management/ (player) coaching team.
  12. I've said for ages the journo's havent got a scooby at whats going on at the club. Either that or their sources are deliberately feeding them with misinformation. Maddock for one is all over the bloody shop at the minute.
  13. I see the Benitez's made another donation to Hoylake Cottage who they have raised £1.5million for through fundraising and Rafa sent one of his old coaching staff dowt to West Derby Tesco to hand Melanie Jones a fat cheque for the Rhys Jones Fund. A true gentleman and a class act to the end. God help us next season.
  14. What makes you assume a short term deal? Whats his incentive in agreeing a short term deal? I doubt he would leave Fulham and al the adulation that goes with it for a short term deal. Wheres the ambition in that?
  15. Dear oh dear the Italians are utter garbage at the minute.
  16. I would agree for early stages Europa ties with minnows, but i still reckon the Prem games will be sold out without much by way of additional effort. As for the football side of things I would also agree that it would not be in any way an inspirational appointment, but I would question whether there would be the same level of vitriol levelled at Roy, if Dalglish had not allegedly ruled himself in (which we don't know to be fact). I am also wary as to whether Dalglish has such a dim view of Hodgson as widely reported. The same reporters didn't have a scooby that he was meeting with Pellegrini and had to rely on some poster on YNWA for the info FFS! Additionally, Pellegrini had sporadic support on here til the news of the Dalglish met broke and then he's allegedly the man for the job! The fickle nature of football support eh?
  17. You honestly think that Hodgson's appointment will cause mutiny? Fuck me, we've had far worse problems (and still have) with other current owner situation and yet still fans have turned out in their droves. Anyone saying they will not go, will go out of curiosity if nothing else and if not then there's a whole boatful of daytrippers who will fill in the gaps. And that is why the Yanks are still here.....
  18. Masch has 'already gone' for me. Its now just case of playing off all the interested parties to get the most cash. I doubt even Maradona would be able keep the traiterous little gringo at Anfield, forget who salvaged his ailing career.
  19. If Uncle Roy is that nailed on, then why is it we have approached Frank Rijkaard twice ina week, only to be denied permission to speak? Somethings definatley happening at Anfield that we are stringing this management thing out.
