One thing that is a bit crazy about all this antisemitism stuff is the baying for blood. The latest disciplinary committee woman who called for no action to be taken against the bloke who posted a clearly offensive and out of order holocaust denial picture on social media. Now, she's saying that she didn't know the full extent of his conduct when she backed him. Personally, I'm not sure I believe her version of events. But... The rush to label her antisemitic, to call for her immediate sacking from the NEC and to criticise Corbyn and others for not acting enforces the argument that, while it's not everybody, some are definitely using this whole process for political purposes. Antisemitism should be tackled. But it's on an equal footing to allegations of racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination. It shouldn't be given a special status or be treated differently. Due process should apply. Allegations should be investigated before action is taken. That happens with other forms of discrimination in political parties and the use of due and fair process in these instances doesn't lead to the very public calls of not taking the issue seriously and condoning the relevant form of discrimination that we're seeing with the current antisemitism allegations. Shouldn't we afford this woman the courtesy of putting her account forward?

In fact, it would be silly to do so particularly as when you first made this unfounded claim (your 8:53 post yesterday) you'd, only 3 minutes earlier, stated that "I’ve no interest in Israel at all." It seems that you hold this belief of being called an Israel apologist because you jumped to implying antisemitism because you didn't fully understand what the "Israel lobby" consisted of and immediately (and incorrectly) linked it to the Jewish trope of collectives of Jews running the world. Quite surprising that you'd make such categorical conclusions particularly when, by your own admission, "I’ve no interest in Israel at all." When your error was corrected, you've then ridiculously converted this action into you somehow being labelled an "Israel apologist." Now that we've clarified your mistake, can we limit discussion to the subject at hand, instead of making (yet another) thread all about you and your self constructed sense of persecution, which once again stems from your steaming in and making ridiculous claims regarding a subject which, by your own admission, you have little interest in (and, apparently little knowledge of). It's quite astounding that he appears to be disputing that these lobbying groups exist. Amazon sell a few books about the "Israel lobby." Are they selling antisemitic literature? Do Honest Reporting and UK Media Watch not exist and try to make life difficult for anybody who is critical of Israel?

The plot to oust Corbyn stuff would sound a bit far fetched if we were dealing with any other group than the Israel lobby. But, they're not a rational bunch. Let's not forget that we're dealing with a group of people here who tried to blacken the name of Channel 4's Jon Snow, labelling him an "antisemite" because he had the balls to narrate a video which highlighted the bombing and slaughter of children, as well as standing up to the Israeli Goebbels, the propagandist Mark Regev. For that, he was systematically attacked by interest groups like UK Media Watch and Honest Reporting. The examples are too many to think that they wouldn't try to ruin Corbyn too.
