  1. This should help to draw a line under the ludicrous accusations regarding cuddly toy octopi. https://www.theguardian.com/law/2024/mar/06/tory-peer-jacqueline-foster-pays-damages-university-challenge
  2. Andrew Bridgen having another normal one… You have to laugh at Matt Le Tissier being on his list of “experts.”
  3. People saying it doesn’t look like her. “Lynn, are those your mother's cataract glasses?”
  4. Whilst I don’t doubt that there are some children in Gaza suffering with malnutrition and starvation, that image is open to debate with growing evidence being adduced to show that he actually suffers from some form of muscle wasting autoimmune disease. But, in genuine and evidenced news, the reports on ITV News tonight of people (including kids) who’ve got missing eyes and limbs and severe burns and were being transported on medical planes out of Gaza to Qatar was desperately heartbreaking and sickening. Little kids on crutches with a dangling trouser leg where a now missing limb once used to be.
  5. Constitution Hill out of the Champion Hurdle and Marine Nationale out of the Arkle.
  6. Awwwww, Tony Green from Bullseye has passed. He’s reunited with his old pal, Jim Bowen. Were they close enough to get buried together INNNNNNNNN ONNNNNNNNNE grave?
  7. Murderous animals. Just utter scumbags.
  8. I worked it out wrong. Arsenal have to play City though. So they’d have to beat them if we won the rest. Which is a big ask. Both of them - Arsenal beating City at the Etihad and us winning all our remaining fixtures. There is room for plenty of twists and turns. But, I’ll be livid if the officiating in the Spurs and Arsenal games cost us.
  9. One good thing about United’s performance is that they’ve highlighted a weakness of City’s that we could try to take advantage of. The direct goal kick or ball from the back line. They looked quite susceptible to that at times today. And you’d imagine that Nunez, Diaz and Mo could do more damage when exploiting that weakness than the halfhearted Rashford and Garnacho did.
  10. It would have been good for City to drop points taking into account the half time score. But, it wasn’t expected. It changes very little. If we don’t lose next weekend and then go all out to win the remaining league fixtures, and do so, then it’s ours. It’d be great to win all four. But, we could be getting to the stage now where we have to make a choice to prioritise the league games and go weaker in the cups. United are fucking awful though. And, I think I might’ve suggested Amrabat in the transfer thread. That removes my right to suggest any further future signings. He’s shockingly bad. It’s all way too fast for him.
  11. Southgate in the crowd with a face like he’d had a tenner on the draw.
  12. Onana needs to fuck off if he’s not injured. This will all get added on when United’s players are even more tired than they are now.
  13. I’d like to see that Haaland chance again. Not sure if he was on/offside.
  14. I can see United getting something today. That “something” being an absolute pasting. I’d be more than happy if they nicked a point, but I can’t even see that, to be honest. The game next weekend is key. If City do drop points, I’d say it’s more than likely going to be against us, Arsenal, Villa and Spurs than against this shower, today.
  15. You fear for them. You really do. Worrying times etc, etc…
  16. Those bloody Americans, constantly invading lands in the Middle East. It’s nice to see the IDF just standing by and watching (or providing military support) while possible war crimes are committed.
  17. I’ve just heard Femke Bol speak for the first time. Jesus!
  18. Using your social media accounts to admit to committing war crimes probably ain’t the wisest idea. You have to wonder if this genocidal intent is widespread amongst the murderers?
