  1. It was a metaphor. Put it this way..let's look at other manager records during Benitez reign at Liverpool 0.4 points for CL and PL, 0.05 points for FA cup and league cup. That'll make 1 point for a clean sweep per year. Man Utd 2005-2010 under Ferguson PL 07,08,09 League Cup 06,09,10 CL 08 so thats 0.4X4 + 0.05X3 =1.75 1.75/6 years=0.29 Chelsea 2005-2007 and Inter 2009-2010 under Mourinho PL/Serie A 05,06...09,10 League Cup/Super Coppa Italia 05,07...10 FA Cup/ Coppa Italia 07...10 CL 10 so thats 0.4X5 + 0.05X5 =2.25 2.25/5 years=0.45 Liverpool 2005-2010 under Benitez CL 05 FA Cup 06 so thats 0.4X1 +0.05X1 = 0.45 0.45/6 years=0.075 so Ferguson: 29 percentage Mourinho: 45 percentage Benitez: 7.5 percentage pretty clear how crap Benitez is. As for club records 2005-2010 period Barcelona 2005-2010 La Liga 05,06,09,10 Copa Del Rey 09 Spanish Supercup 05,06,09,10 CL 06,09 thats 0.4X6 +0.05X5=2.65 2.65/6 years =0.44 so Barcelona:44 percentage Liverpool:7.5 percentage thats like 6 times our record. Not acceptable for a club like Liverpool that exists to win trophies.
  2. He won the European Cup and FA Cup only, and in 6 seasons. That's one major trophy and one minor trophy in 6 seasons. It may be good record for Tottenham, but for clubs like Liverpool, that record is pathetic and not good nuff. Oh yeah and the football was defensive, dull, and crap.
  3. Maybe Mourinho got money at Chelsea, but he doesnt need it to succeed. The myth that he only chooses clubs which give him loads of resources is bs. His greatest skill is his man management and mental handling of players. According to this news from 2004, he preffered us over Chelsea. Mourinho would prefer Liverpool - Telegraph But Parry didnt want him because of his touchline celebrations against Man Utd, which apparently didnt show dignity and wasnt the liverpool way, hence they gave the job to Benitez who showed more dignity..
  4. Kinda have mixed emotions regarding the Benitez situation. Want him to get sacked so he can have a dose of what reality taste like, after being spoilt by the incredible patience of our fans, and regressing our club by playing crap football, buying Kuyt, and finishing 7th. Not to mention the barren years from 07-10 without winning a single major trophy. P.s. reaching CL finals and semifinals dont count if you dont win the trophy. First is first second is nothing. Same goes for the 08-09 season. Second is still nothing. On the other hand tho, if he gets sacked, he might take some time off and become a better manager.
  5. Its pretty simple tbh. Play to your strengths. The whole team is bigger than the sum of its parts. Mourinho always knows how to get the best out of his teams, Benitez doesnt. For example Inter, they dont have poor players. They have old players. However with age comes experience(lol at this), and Inter's strengths is that their defenders are good at reading the game and positiong, and their attackers are clinical and fast. Mourinho knew that, and played to the team's strengths, creating a team that had a defence as tight as a virgin's pussy, and an offence as explosive as a black man's dick. However with Benitez, he's not flexible and doesnt play to the teams strengths. Putting Maicon so high up the pitch resulted in a Bale roasting. Giving his old players intensive fitness training resulted in them getting soft tissue injuries. Untill Benitez stops the excuses and learns to get the best out of his team, he'll never succeed. There's not always a Gerrard to bail him out like 2005.
  6. Yeh just was a mistake hiring hodgson as manager. Kinda like a girl getting out of a abusive relationship, then dating Chris Brown..
  7. The guys always talks, no sorry whines about all the problems he have, but hes just giving excuses all the time..He complains about injuries, but if there are fitness problems, then he should find a way to get round them.. Read in the 08-09 season, when Messi was abit injury prone still, Guardiola often substituted him, and gave him rest when needed, which was partly why he stayed injury free whole season. The other part being the individual fitness training regime. Thats what a winner does in my opinion. Find ways to overcome problems. benitez just whines. And about the injuries, IVe heard(From an inter fan) that its actually Benitez's too intensive training program thats causing it.
  8. Proves what everyone knows..Benitez is a crap man manager..Class doessnt just dissappear overnight like that. Looking at Maicon, Sneijder's and Milito's performances, can clearly see the way he doesnt get the best out of players. Oh yeh and the excuses sound eeerily similar to when he was here..need more money..need more time..need more players..injuries are costing our performances Put it simply, he's not a winner like Mourinho. A winner gets success no matter what. Benitez just gives excuses on why he's crap..
  9. Well, dont mean to say I told you so, but I told you so. After the Chelsea match, said not to get excited, that winning more games is more important then winning important ones, and that the players and the manager is still crap, and look what happened in last two games. Also said that despite, the Chelsea performance, Lucas is still crap. He fulfilled my prediction today. On the positive side tho, I feel like Hodgson's time is up, so hopefully I'm right again, like I usually am.
  10. Nice result. Doesnt really mean anything tho. Fulham also won several times against the big four, but failed to win games consistently. And thats why they finished average. We still have a crap manager, and poor quality players. One good game doesnt make Lucas into Xavi. And one good assist doesnt make Kuyt into a Bergkamp. We still lack depth up front, and lack creativity in midfield. Our players need to learn how to keep possesion too. The amount of possesion Chelsea had in the second half in contrast to us sums up our midfield ability to keep the ball. Nice to see Torres get his form back tho. He's consistent, but just needs to stay injury free. We shouldnt get too excited by this game. End of day its only 3 points. Its more about winning the most num of games, not the toughest games. And with the squad and manager we have. Thats gonna be difficult. Just gotta concentrate on the next game and not get too carried away.
  11. I get that, but the fact remains that we, Liverpool are the biggest club in the world, we belong at the top, and should be at the top. Back in the 80's we were winning leagues and champions leagues, and thats what we should be aiming for now, to win leagues and champions leagues. And we're currently a long long way from where we should be, a long long way from the top, so Im just saying there's a lot to do still.
  12. Dont get why ppl are so excited. Sure we've got rid of the owners but we still have a hell of a load of problems. Languishing in relelgation zone, just got beat by black pool, and no champions league. And on top of that, Our star striker is as fragile as glass, and our attack is lack of creativity. Not only that, Poulsen is crap, our midfield is crap, and we cant even string a few passes together. To compound to that, our new manager seems to have a losing mentality about him. Also, it's not like we're being sold to a multi rich company and have loads of money for players, Tom W Henry is just average finanically. We still got a load of problems to solve, so dont get why ppl are so happy so soon.
  13. tell Torres: Gerrard will stay if you stay tell Gerrard: Torres will stay if you stay
  14. Even tho Im happy that he left, but still thx Benitez for the trophies, and no thx for the trophyless seasons..think this was best decision for both parties tho..we needed some space lol..still, best of luck in the future..
  15. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha yeh baby...at last..
  16. Jazz sad that we're jazz happy bout one European Cup in 5 years. Guardiola jazz apologized to the fans for only winning jazz the league this season. Whereas we're jazz happy bout a European win that jazz happened 5 years ago. No english so here's jazz language for you jazz..Enough jazz?
  17. Living on past glories..no wonder we're in this position..jz not the right mentality.. I rmb reading bout when Paisley won the european cup and league, hed jz give the medals to the players, and carry on to the following season. Here we are tho reminicsing about something that happened 5 years ago. Mindset's jz bad.
  18. Rijkaard plays attacking footy, and he knows how to assemble a team.so yeh him would be good..
  19. same here..done nothing yet says Im a massive tool..wonder which sick bastard has been spying on my package..
  20. lol would be great if he missed out, carra took the central slot, and bridge get called up for the full back slot that was for carra to fill..
  21. Im kinda confused here..if Martin Broughton is chairman now, what are Gillet and Hicks?
  22. they just locked the you dont speak for me thread..they seem to lock everything that they dont agree with lol..
  23. Firstly whats the point in that? And secondly I think its a case of RAWK being detached from the reality that alot of fans are anti Benitez, or are at least turning against him.. All you accomplish with that email thingy is to come across as a whiny group of ppl..and piss ppl off tbh..
  24. Istanbul. And when he leaves us.
  25. Gerrard for his assist in a key moment of the match lol..
