  1. Sure ive just seen some mexicans dressed as bees. Aye aye aye!! Ace.
  2. Aye. Have lumped* on the Mexicans at 66/1 *£1 each way.
  3. Had a quid each way on Mexico at 66/1. Think they might surprise a few.
  4. I think RBS want their principal back sharpish. C&A coud well be frozen out from here on in. We are about to enter second, worldwide financial cluster fuck and RBS want theirs while the gettings good in my view. I expect movement soon. Maybe not in the way this fella has described but something could well be going off.
  5. RBS are getting twitchy chaps. Theyre pulling in any money they can before we all go down the plughole together. There may be something in this. Read here for some anecdotals. Rbs Margin Calls - Anecdotal - House Price Crash forum
  6. My gut feeling after watching that is that he's off. I reckon only Dalglish as manager will have a prayer of keeping him at the cloob.
  7. Walcott? SWP? Walcott needs a new club. Wenger has fucked him up with his victim mentality. Shame we dont have any dosh.
  8. Kuyt was bought as a successful striker in Holland. Deployed for the most part in right midfield role by Benitez. IE played out of position for the lions share of his time at LFC. Wasnt hugley prolific, but when he did score, it usually was in a game that mattered. He loved playing for Liverpool and is a decent bloke. I wish him well. However quite why he wants to follow the bloke that turned him in to a workhorse midfielder god only knows. I guess they are both more suited to the cagey rubbish that is the Italian league. I'm interested to see what tune a new manger can get out of the likes of Babel and Lucas. Lucas looked very good when allowed to play higher up the pitch last year. Now that Benitez has gone, some of our existing squad will hopefully be viewing this as a fresh start at the club as we've got fuck all money for anyone else.
  9. And Benitez played a blinder. Managed to trouser the cash and leave, with most fans on boards like this, still thinking hes the second coming or something. He should hand it all back if he signs with Inter. He got EXACTLY what he wanted in my view.
  10. New owners in the wings? I think so. Somebody must have wanted Benitez gone very badly is all i can say. Good riddance too. How can he trouser £6mill and then walk straight to Inter on £8mill a year? I thought we were skint? Somebody must have money to spunk. Rafa got what he wanted, the only slight flaw in his plan, is that he now has to wait for Maureen to get the bullet at Madrid. All season watching him make one bizarre decision after another, im thinking he is trying to fuck this up. There was no other explanation. The mans a genius And yet all these boards are still full of people lauding him,:wallbutt: and worried about what Redknapp might spiv out of us. Hes gonna have to work hard to better Benitez at that. BTW I reckon Van Gaal is the best man for the job if anyone cares...
  11. They'll need a brass band and a tannoy system blaring at them to "ignore the rain and dig for victory". One fucked up country that.
  12. Adios Rafa and ta for the good stuff. But i dont think you ever "got" the Premier League.
  13. So your position is that Torres and Gerrard would more likely stay if Benitez stayed? I see.
  14. I cant see Gerrard going if Kenny is the new boss, this very likely applies to Torres too. In that sense Kenny is already off to a flier. Benitez lost the players the night we went out to Lyon, in my view. We've had a squad that had decided they werent putting their world cups on the line for Rafa since February. The main thing is keeping what players we have, as any funds raised will go straight to Texas. We doactually have some real talent there, its easy to forget that, the way Benitez has been running things. In a similair vein i can see an upside to O'Neil coming if we are forced to sell the big names. He does get the max out of pigs ears. We were linked with Milner, but O'Neil, instead of buying a crocked Aquilani, bought him for a fuck sight less. O Neil isnt the anti christ, he does well with average players, which is what we might be looking at. Benitez going is a good thing. If only that it will now focus the ire on the stooges.
  15. Yes it fucking is. Every penny. I'll bung in a fiver to get the parteh started..... In the name of god GO!!
  16. Didnt know about Johnsons "problems". Just read the other day he was headed out of city. If what's been said is true thats a real shame. Ilan has looked more than good enough to cover for Torres, better than anything we've got right now. His goals, along with Parker, have kept West Ham up. Im basing these bargain hunts on us having fuck all money btw.
  17. Michael Johnson Citeh. Elan. Hammers. Both could be absolute bargains.
  18. I posted the same idea earlier in this thread,. If you look at the recent euro performances, compared to the league, it adds weight to the theory. The only fly in the ointment is gerrards face when torres was taken off. certainly suits benitez to gain kudos in europe whilst fucking cancer and aids right up the wrong un on the financial fornt. is torres REALLY injured? This could be the best sting ever. Benitez COULD make mugs of us all yet. On the other hand he could be a totally frazzled, stubborn, incompetent fool.:wow:
  19. Could Benitez be deliberately throwing 4th place to smoke out the yanks? This all seems to be gathering pace since Brum draw. The way Rafa is deploying Torres is fucking bizarre. Somethings goin off..
  20. Torres: 60 mins v Brum, off "injured" Torres 85 mins v Benfica off rested. Torres 0 mins v Fulham. Injured. Horseshit. So if his knee was so bad, why play 85 mins v Benfica Rafa? Ive said for more than a season, that he wants the sack and nothing he has done has ever changed my mind. He knows Real are waiting. All can offer as mitigation s that he wanted to protect Torres from Fulham for the potential final. City and Spurs run ins are/were such that we may well have caught them if the boss had the desire, its clear he sees a Europa cup win as his calling card for a job in europe next year. He dropped Kuyt and Lucas today who actually must have started feeling good about themselves. 2 players bought as one thing, and played as another under this manager. Ive not been a fan of either but its starting to looklike systematic player degradation. Babel is another that deserves credit for sticking woth it despite this bizarre regime. Classic Benitez. Not sacking him at xmas has now cost us, twice. Please leave, your history mate.
  21. Breaking on Sky... Barclays Capital hired to FIND A NEW BUYER FOR THE CLOOOOOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Yes, but by happy accident Johnson is just about the best right winger in the Prem. Not that Benitez has the nous to play him there. Im happy to see Yossi go. Hes been good value.
