    it's a shame that out and out wingers are a dying breed, because it's so dangerous if a winger gets round the full back you're almost guaranteed a goal with decent finishers. The only one I can think who's still like this in England is Aaron Lennon

    I think we have attempted to address it, we tried Gonzalez, Pennant amongst others. I think the other top teams struggle as well, take United had the same left mid for 20 years, had the best in the world on the right but had to spend 18mil to replace him which we can't really afford to do. Chelsea have always been quite narrow with their 4-3-3 and Arsenal have never been much of a wing play team.

    I saw a documentary on Garrincha many years ago and have always since believed he was better than Pele, Pele just knew how to work the publicity around himself (yanno his marketing schemes such as the 1000 goals thing). A bit like Lennon and McCartney in a way, Garrincha the working class hero while Pele is still raking in the big bucks. Anyway in said documentary I'm sure they showed a clip taken in the changies after a Brazil game and Garrincha did indeed have a massive cock.

    I'd say about 4 of his peaked in the 90s, Neville and Giggs deffo haven't seen much good from them in the last decade, also Viera done nothing since about 2004 when Arsenal had the invincibles and Shearer I would say wound down his career this decade. Surely there's been better than Terry, Ferdinand and Cole as well.

    you say that, but Gerrard has been taking nearly all free kicks and corners for about 5 years even though we've had the likes of Alonso, Hamann and Riise who could of all taken them

    we've been playing absolute shite and the other teams haven't formed much of a gap over us, so my optimistic self sees the teams supposedly breaking the top for as only slightly better than us when they're at their best and we're at our worst. Villa haven't even had their end of season freefall yet, and I'm sure Spurs will bottle it- sorry all get food poisoning on the last day, and City will have had 5 managers by May.

    that article is terrible, you can tell his editor just said to him get me a story about Torres wanting to leave and he couldn't find any quotes or evidence so just wrote it out of his own thoughts. As for whether he really wants to leave, some people make out like the club exists to do well for Gerrard and Torres, well I'm sorry but Gerrard and Torres are there to do well for the club and we should be telling them to play better if they want the club to do better
