Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Joel Matip have been ruled out of Liverpool’s clash with Chelsea today after returning suspected positive tests for COVID-19. The trio will play no part in the fixture at Stamford Bridge and are now isolating. It follows news Jürgen Klopp will not be present at the encounter after also registering a suspected positive test. All other members of the Reds’ playing squad have subsequently been tested and received negative results.

Another 2 positives, pending PCR confirmation and some staff too. Thiago out as well. Rumours are Ali and Bobby.

Brilliant night at the game, my son, my dad and me. The roar of the crowd was excellent and the boy went mental after a stream of messages from his mates during the game giving it to him. To see the joy on his face was really special. Leicester fans are pretty odious, even walking to the ground they were singing the Feed the Scousers nonsense. I’ve no issues with a bit of stick or banter but weaponising stuff like that is too far I’m my opinion. So yeah, fuck them and shithousery.
