:yes: I am Slovak and I like Skrtel, because it is first Slovak in my favourite football club. But I am LFC fan in first place and then Skrtel fan. If it is better for the team then I do not mind Martin beeing benched. And if he continues to play average he deserves to be benched. And if he plays shit whole season, then he could be sold. And I would still be LFC fan And I do not hate Danny. I wish him all the best. If I should make my Top LFC rank he would definitely be there.

It is over 2 years that Agger is not playing regularly. He made only few appearances in last two seasons and not a minute in this. I am looking forward to see him back but but we can not overrate this return. Two years is a very long time for a professional footballer so we have to be a little bit careful. I am saying this because many people talk about his return as a saviour comeback and as if Danny could win the games on his own. Another thing I am worried about is very offensive consistence of our defence if Glen/Danny/Insua would be starters. We have seen Skrtel and Carra often exposed on their own this season because of attacking football our fullbacks play. With Daniel we have back another defender who likes to get over halfway line and I could see either Carra/Skrtel stuck in shit for a few times.

For LFC Brian...go there. The city is nice, Slovakian girls are wonderful it is said that one of the nicest in the world. They are really hot. Shame that you did not come during summer you could see more of them...In winter you´ll see just nice faces and coats.... But come here. The city is nice also in winter, the people are kind and clubs or pubs are fine. Remmie writes about the prices. I don´t know when has he been here, but in last two years the prices were catapulted up. You did not get beer ( half liter) for less than 1 Euro and pizza under 4 Euro. Good dinner or lunch in restaurant could be about 8-10 Euros for person ( but I mean quality restaurant, and meal consisting of soup, main meal plus some drink). In last two years the british pound went down and Slovakia has euro since 2009 so Bratislava is not as cheap as it was. But I recommend it for you. Good place for a small holiday. I don= t know wher has been this movie made but I heard that somewhere in Czech republic in gipsy ghetto. RB-Pekarik- young,22 yeras old Wolfsburg player, great forward but weaker defensively. Has played every match since coming to Wolfsburg last season, winning the title, but they swapped also managers and he did not starts in this season for his club. LB- Cech - WBA player who came from FC Porto. Succesfull in Portugal, but spend a season on the bench under Mowbray. This season starts as a LM for Brom. Good ofensively, average defensively LB/RB/DM - Zabavnik- defensive rock, versatile player, plays all 3 positions as mentioned. Nobody gets past him, he is in great form this season. Plays also in Russia. Midfield Strba - Defensive midfielder, plays for Xanthi in Greece. Nothing special, he is over 30 and just this summer left Slovak league for the first time so probably not world class. Our first choice DM Karhan is injured Sestak- Bochum´s top scorer last season, plays as winger or striker. Scored at least a goal in last 5 matches for Slovakia. Sapara - playmaker from Rosenborg Trondheim. He is too big for Rosemborg, but it is only norwegian league. I am not sure if he can play the same standard that Hamšik would. Vladi Weiss- 19- years old Man City player, great prospect, talented, skilfull, started vs Cxzech rep. and some Czezch players had a mare against him Stoch - known from Chelsea, now on loan to Twente, talented and very fast attacking midfielder. Jendrisek - average winger who plays in 2.Bundesliga, but can score goals. Holosko - great striker, fast, tall , strong on the ball, with good goals ratio for all of his current clubs. Now playing for Besiktas. Vittek - lost child of Slovak football. Should have been a golden child around his twenties. Was seen as a possible european class striker, but now, he is closer to 30 than to 20 and has stucked in average clubs ( Nurnberg, now Lille) and is very inconsistent. So we will see

I thought that it could be bollocks and Brunty maybe plays some psychollogical war ;) I know the ground, have seen the match when NI defeated England few years back and also watched second half of NI vs Czech rep. in this quali. It will be very intersting to see how this game goes. I think it is fair to say that is a game between two average european football nations who have done very well in this qualification and the players feel the chance of their lifes. Slovakia has been close to succes also in WC2006 quali. We finished 2nd behind Portugal and before Russia, but went to play off and got Spain. We lost the first game 5-1 in Madrid :drool: and the dream was over.

I am starting to get nervous about this one. If Slovakia wins in Belfast and Slovenia-Poland will be a draw, then we are in SA. But I expect hard match, with both of our first choice central midfielders out. And there is still one thing. Slovak football usually fucks everything up, when they have a chance of achieving something big. So I am affraid we could lose and not only in Belfast but also in following matches.

I think we are not favourites for this game. Our results look o.k. , but shall not be overrated. When we look at them without 2 wins against San Marino, all our other victories vere 2-1 and the matches were also very close. We beat NI at home, than Poland at home ( we were 0-1 down with 8 minutes to go) and then we won in Prague ( but also were lucky there). All I want to say is that Slovak players feel historical chance to qualify for major tournament, we have some quality, but surely not world beaters. We did not dominate our oponents in previous games and it won´t be easy for Slovakia to win. Our advantage is that we have some skillful technical young and fast boys who could make the difference in counter attacks, cause I am expecting lot of pressure from the home side and many many long balls to the box. So busy day for Skrtel and without our playmaker we could have more troubles. But NI at home will be a powerpack. You also feel a big chance to qualify so I expect a very hard fight. So good luck

Skrtel played o.k. against the Czechs looked fully fit , even jhe had 1 or 2 dodgy moments. It was good match, I was in the stands. There is not reason why Skrtel shouldn´t play on Wdn. But our playmaker Hamsik is suspended so that can make the difference. I am looking forward to this encounter.

Kalou will be playing for Ivory Coast together with Drogba. They could play with Anelka ( or Sturridge ) as a lonely striker, like they played under Scolari. With Malouda and Joe Cole on the wings, with the midfield consisting with three players out of Lampard, Ballack,Beletti, Deco, Zhirkov. I thinh that they did not plan some major winter buys just for the purpose of Africa Cup. And their ageing squad? They have some quality youngsters loaned out like Stoch, Mancienne, Sinclair, Di Santo so I think they could do it until 2011. Maybe this fact says something. Never had anything personal against Leiva but he certainly is not LFC quality.
