  1. no matter what we argue about regimes current and previous (i am still a great believer in the previous but i know other s have valid arguements against it) 1 things stands Hodgso nis shit and should never have been made our manager and if yougave him a 100 million he would still be shit cos he has cant handle big egos and hasnt got the coaching quality to impress those footballers who will win you things...... PS Konchesky is really shite so can't see why some people seem to think he isnt
  2. all games. These put out rumours to put pressure on the outcome of the case.........judges pretend to be impartial but they aren't. The reason I think TH will lose is because we for once have the British establishment on the side of our Chairman.........
  3. With out a doubt the first bit of business but maybe the conversation would go like this NESV: Hi Roy you are the euro genius Roy: Yes, NESV: Your the one with the famous wins Roy: Yes NESV: WOW Inter, Real, Milan, Barca, Chelsea you beat them all Roy: NO Trabson and I drew with utrecht NESV: WHO are they? ....... Well who beat Inter Milan Barca Chelsea and real Roy; That was the fella before me but Sir alex and the press say he was shit so dont worry I have 35 yrs of great experience NESV:Roy? Roy: What? NESV: Fuck OFF!!!!
  4. anyway Roy sorry but Roy has to go he is only here because he was a cheap option and that is why if like me you didn't want him indifference to his appointment was the only option as it is our way to support our managers however it is patently obvious that he is way out of his depth and IF we are taken over then he has to go as has been said above it is a good excuse without going through another soap opera. Think it might depend on the players they want to talk to if they get the club. According to the mirror they want to talk to Gerrard Torres and Reina. Think Roy may have a problem if stories are true they don't believe in his methods
  5. didn't get tonked by arsenal in the semi of the CL in 2006 lost 1 - 0 at the emirates and drew 0 - 0 at home and remember Lehmans last minute penalty save to take it into extra time.. sorry to be pedantic
  6. not more americans their business plans do not fit with football sorry but i feel that we are out of the frying pan into the fire........same again in two years
  7. Dont forget the tackle he did on Babel at anfield last year (one of times he had started of playing like he was going to do damage). It was two footed and didn't get the ball the ref said nothing and afterwards when i seen it again the ex evertonian fergie loving sky presenting c*nt said it was a strong challenge but you need that from your centre midfielder De Jong is a very dirty player and hopefully will start getting targeted by referees now
  8. i have never been warned before and posted that Hodgson should F off cos he is a yes man at about 6 o clock went to log back in and had been suspended for a week..............if it was a lie i could say alright but it seemed heavy handed to me.
  9. goatboy rushie had been injured thats why we were down there but as you said he came back and we won 3 - 2 at forest i think.........As for now it basically the manager who cant motivate players, lacks tactical knowledge and plays players out of position but hey we got a fella the press like so its not his fault didn't want before he came desperate for him to go now he is out of his depth
  10. just got the sos e mail requesting questions for the Chinese bid on anticipation of them meeting with Kenny Huang. Seems strange to do this is he wasn't going to put in a bid and be the preferred bidder and also why didn't SOS just wait until any announcement to do this unless they have heard something unofficially........... Probably putting 2 & 2 and getting 22 but here's hoping for a genuine bid that MB agrees with
  11. Brings back old memories that blog - i played for a team who when we very first started we played the Liverpool Chinese. they only got 4 pts all season and three were of us cos we never got our insurance sorted and the league were pissed off and awarded them the points that season. Good bunch of lads though cos they kept going even though they took a few beatings. Old memories of the good days
  12. the bit in bold is what worries me because it would mean another season of going backwards and stagnation and that could mean a loss of main players Liverpool not going cheap - Hicks ESPNsoccernet staff April 18, 2010 Tom Hicks is happy to wait for the right buyer © Getty ImagesRelated LinksNews:Liverpool owners put club up for sale News:Benitez desires Liverpool stay Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks believes the club has now trebled in value and is happy to wait to find the right buyer. Hicks and fellow owner George Gillett put Liverpool up for sale on Friday, just over three years after their £218 million takeover. Fans have persistently protested against their ownership and Rafael Benitez has indicated that he is eager to see the sale go through as quickly as possible as he seeks more stability at the club. However, it appears there may be little prospect of a swift sale as, following initial reports the club was up for sale at around £500 million, Hicks has now suggested they would be happy to wait to find a buyer willing to meet his apparent £654 million valuation. "Liverpool Football Club has been a great investment," he told the Sunday Mirror. "It has probably tripled in value. "We have doubled player spending, both gross and net, and the new stadium is now fully designed and permitted. With fresh capital from a new owner, the stadium will be operational by August 2014. "Liverpool will be as profitable as any other club in the Premier League and can compete financially and on the pitch with any other club. This is a great step forward for Liverpool FC, but we will now take our time and find the best possible owner." He added: "The fans blame the owners, but we had terrible injuries with our star players out and we just weren't a very good team without them. When the fans turn against you it's very frustrating. "When I was in the leverage buy-out business, we bought Weetabix and we leveraged it up to make our return. You could say anyone eating Weetabix was paying for our purchase. It was just business. It is the same for Liverpool." The Royal Bank of Scotland has apparently agreed to give the owners further time to pay back £100 million of the speculated overall £237 million debt.
  13. please i need to be optimistic even though I think Tony Evans is right w will we ever be rid of them so we can go back to concentrating on football
  14. so for 25m we would be able to shop once again in the 7 - 8 million range for 3 players as our squad is so weak. Also a new manager? we have to pay the old one off so out of the 25m we have 8 mill left.....then the new manager wants to build his team.....we have had net spend for the last three windows and with no champs league we will not sell to buy as stated above but we will sell to pay off the interest then the old manager and his staff. Which credible manager is going to come in and want to manage us as if he is good enough he will go to other clubs which have money and owners who aren't killing the club
  15. no they dont own it, chanrai when he took control as the secured creditor he transferred the ground into another company and is to lease it back to portsmouth for £1m a year
  16. any of our arabic speaking supporters confirm this.....(praying really hard and hoping)
  17. redzawi - can you fill us in on who and what his standing is in the saudi royal family. I read in an article that if he bought into Liverpool he wou;ld talk to his elder brother who is head of the Saudi FA and he is hrh prince sultan bin fahad bin abdulaziz so please can someone, Redzawi if possible as we knowyou know your stuff let us know Who he is?
  18. still suffering from flu so i am lying in my sick bed in a hawaiin shirt and have just shaved of my beard thst i grew this week to leave a proper moustache. I look like one of the dead columbians in scarface so my excuse for the exclamation marks is that i am a tit!!!!! Serious note i know it is has been asked before but is this prince of the royal line in other words is fadh and abdullah in his name the the old kings of saud
  19. derek acorah ex red reserve and LFC player.............do you reckon he could get the ghosts to haunt G & H so they both sell!!!!!
  20. Carra you are right its just I didn't really want us going that way because I always felt that someone who bought us and treated us right would get something back other than the football and adoration off the fans. As you say now we probably do need a 'Sugar daddy' the only problem I don't believe anybody is out there anymore like that to buy us
  21. agree completely with the above.....we were owned and by greedy dishonest men who sold to two greedy dishonest men. Maybe its the British/ American mentality that business is about money nothing else because the foriegn owners (Chelsea, City) seem not to have a problem with splashing out...Look at united a similar sale to us. P.s not saying i want a sugar daddy for the club just somebody who seems to realise sport is more than a money making business All as I know is that if i had been born with the silver spoon I wouldn't have been arsed about the money but would of made sure that the club was in the hands of people who would respect it and the fans................This is our lives and because of the greed of the previous board and current owners us fans have spent two years arguing with each other and have as much and in some cases more thoughts about what happening off the pitch than what is happening on it. What goes around comes around and maybe one they will all get what they deserve. If only Earl Hickey had a reverse Karma list!!!!!
  22. carra - we all have different opinions but i beleive off the field issues have affected the likes of Gerrard Carra Torres Masch ect (don't think Kuyt could ever pass or control a ball so not sure if he has been affected). The reason is I belive that the first 3 especially really believed that with a bit more investment and a slight strengthening of the squad theirs and our dreams of a title would be realised. The problem is I think they are disheartened as they can see the club has gone stale. We can't shift out players we don't want because the transfer money will be stolen by the yanks and we would have an even weaker squad. The players who know they are not wanted don't have the heart to play for us and aren't good enough so I think these situations will affect the other players. Thats my opinion but I believe if we don't get rid of the yanks it will only get worse
  23. I agree with unrighteous we are in the biggest crisis this club has ever faced. With these owners it's a real crisis everyday. Don't forget we couldn't get rid of the players we don't want cos we have no money to replace them and any transfer fees will be robbed by the yanks. So consequently we have players who know they aren't wanted at the club therefore no heart, a squad that is not strong enough and because we haven't been able to bring in anybody to strengthen and only able to replace sold palyers (ie couldn't afford a good striker), the players who thought we needed a small push for the title now realise that we are stale as a team and are disheartened by the situation. This to me means we are in real crisis caused by our illustrious owners robbing the transfer funds and breaking transfer money promises made to the manager.... We are in Crisis
  24. Hey Whelan 'Thanks for that, and how is the weather in Bridgend?' in answer to your question you tell me cos I am from vauxhall road?
