  1. we're a bit pants up front tonight...its depressing. I just dont think david is very good
  2. this thread is worse than having to listen to a bunch of women blether on about shoes.
  3. $$$ Value of this thread $$$ 0.0000000 £
  4. I wonder if there's any chance he might consider closing his mouth and not talking about liverpool football club between now and the end of civilisation. It's really not difficult to field the kind of questions that would make this possible. Please.
  5. It wasn't clear to see to everybody though. Lots of fans thought it'd be a terrible move, that if he failed his legacy would be ruined etc etc. To be honest, even if he didn't keep this up, what he did for the club at a crucial time, when we were in danger of falling into relegation trouble, should never be forgotten. That said...I've got big big hopes for this one:-)
  6. He's boring me now with his endless chattering about this, that and the next thing. There are about three footballers in the world whom I'm less interested in hearing a word that comes out of their mouth.
  7. I think there's no doubt that the expectations of some players have not been met in recent years and i'd go as far to say that they were mislead by the previous owners. However, there is a distinction between the men in suits who run the club and the fans who worship, adore, support and help pay their astronomical wages. Having a beef with one doesn't mean showing a lack of respect for the other and by extension the club itself. Honestly, foul human beings the both of them. Something, I might add, that was brought further to light this week by the conduct of Ryan flamin' Babel
  8. hadn't seen that but it's now clear that the two fingers were aimed at Pepe. In a way it's good to know think that it was Torres who had all the problems with the rest of the team rather than the whole team pulling against each other because of what's gone on the last 18 months. But what the hell happened to turn him into one of the most odious, rotten, duplicitous, treacherous, self-serving c***buckets to have ever darkened the club's door? I just don't get it. Weird to think that he's ended up at the club best suited in the world to his nefarious character. I mean I hate the Mancs but at least I respect them.
  9. haha They've got a big dressing room at Forest though
  10. Are the radio rental? Luckily we know that under these owners the club will tell them to Arrivederci Roma. I hope
  11. I think it's important to remember we spent £35m - or whatever it was - because we had it to spend from the sale of Torres. Not saying the owners won't keep it up, but at one point it even looked like the Suarez deal might not happen. Feet were dragging big time. I'm not being downbeat, I'll just personally reserve judgement 'til we're back knocking at the top four and beyond. I'd imagine losing Torres was a rocket up the owners backside though, that's if they didn't expect it so soon. Losing a player of his stature internationally is a big loss for any company. They've learned pretty quickly, between Roy and Torres, that there's no room for sitting around pondering what to do next, drawing up spread sheets and formulating plans. It has to be done as soon as it becomes necessary. And it was necessary to replace Torres, and not just with Suarez. That would have been a terrible message to the fans and the competition. Just hope Luis and Carrol don't turn out to be Tweedledee and Tweedledum
  12. yeah, Cole should have the rest of the season to step up If Agger has another long layoff before the end of the season I'd get rid too, for the same reasons as Aurelio. Getting rid of the rest would wipe the slate clean and leave a squad of first players I'd be very happy with
  13. Say it isn't so???? I can't believe that's true. It's utter madness if it is A good summer clear out would be Jones Aurelio (just because i think it's bad vibes to have a constantly injured footballer in the squad, not cause i don't like the chap) Soto Skrtel Cole Jovanovic Spearing Poulsen New CB New leftback New DM Adam Young
  14. £30 for a raving alcoholic...great
  15. I don't think the fact that they're not bigoted misogynists is the problem. I think that the problem may be, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf. But yeah, whatever
  16. but Ronaldo wasn't worth 90m - Madrid went mad and Utd played a blinder. Besides, Ronaldo and Messi (or at least he would be) are in a league of their own when it comes to transfer fees. And, as someone else said, he won't sell as many shirts at chelsea.
  17. i don't see the big deal about this escape clause. If somebody offered £50m we'd surely take it, clause or no clause
  18. This is how I feel. Worse than Owen, worse than Masch, about 10000000000 times worse than either Alonso or Gerrard, who didn't actually do anything wrong for different reasons. Absolutely no way back
  19. what if, in the unlikely event, we go on an amazing run and run Chelsea to the wire for the 4th champions league spot and in the last minute of the last game of the season FT misses an open goal in the knowledge a win would push his soon to be new team out of contention. Farfetched I know, but a player with another team on his mind is not worth having, three days to go or not. Plus, he's soiled, get rid asap.
