Its being completely blown out of proportion. He was correct in were he pointed out mistakes he made and at the end of the game made the comment that he had a very solid second half which he did. It seems to be a lot of people on twitter for example have an opinion that Can is boss (and i think he is for the record )but once there's any criticism of him they start overreacting and crying like babies. some of the comments at Carra last night on his timeline are embarrassing. Its ok to think a player is quality but has made some mistakes there seems to be no grey area when it comes to social media. I find the same arguments keep going around with Sakho as well that some people made an opinion of him last season very early and won't move from that opinion regardless of how brilliant he's playing as its more important to be seen as being right. For the record both Can and Sakho are quality players and I hope they are still with us for the long term, but they fare both young and will make mistakes going forward and its not the end of the world if Carra or somebody on this forum points it out.

We've needed a DM from the time Rodgers got the job and in every transfer window he's ignored this. I cant see him signing one at all. when we were challenging for the title last year and most people were calling out in January for a DM we spent the entire window chasing a winger.

His best moment was his header in the 3-3 against the mancs. Love a CB smashing in a header like that from a cross same as the one MS got against arsenal recently. Ultimately he was a poor poor professional that helped stink the club out with a bad lazy attitude when what we needed was senior players that would do anything to win and show the younger ones the way to go. Compare him to Gary Mac who came in was a senior pro with a great attitude helped Stevie and the younger players and helped us win trophies. What was the quote the fat cunt had. Typical when I want the FA to dish out a big ban they just give 1 poxy match with the useless twat will probably be injured for anyway. At least it's another game closer to January where we can find another club or even a big bin to stick him in.

So far from the games he's played the issues I have are, He's not that fast. So his recovery pace if he makes a mistake is not there. His heading is awful in terms of timing his jumps. The amount of times where he's jumped for a long high ball and completely missed it is shocking. He can't read danger and doesn't help out his Full backs. When he dives in full blooded and wins a tackle it looks good but a lot of times his tacking is really poor. His passing is piss poor he try's to play a fair few long passes and a lot of them don't work. He doesn't make a lot of body blocks from shots either because he's a bit of a shithouse or just really slow trying to get across to block at the last second. He's as bad a CB iv'e ever seen play for us.

Rodgers luck might be changing with Lovern and Balotelli out. He can actually pick better options. He just needs Jones to fall down some stairs now before Sunday.

I don't have a suggestion of who to go for but I'd have thought our scouts could come up with some options for a top keeper and get this position nailed down. As it stands fucking Spurs have a better keeper than us. It's a vital position we should spend a decent fee on a keeper that will come in and be our new no. 1. This signing smacks of a cheap stop gap solution.

the question really is what the fuck are our scouts paid for if these are the list of options they came back with. Going from a top talent like Sanchez to a proven liability and shite player like Balotelli. I'm not an expert in other leagues and players but even I knew that signing Balotelli was a massive risk not worth taking.

I'm pretty sure Torben Piechnik was at a similar level to this clown. Rodgers persistence in playing him and him directly coatings us goals will get Rodgers sacked.

It's looking like the last transfer window will get him the sack. He's persisiting with Lovern who's costing us goals every single time he plays. And as for Balotelli. It says everything that he actually done well when he came on but is just shit. Shooting from 40 yards when better options are available and then missing straight forward chances. We kept a few clean sheets recently with Toure instead of Lovern and Lucas helping protect the back 4, then goes away to OT and pick that midfield and defence. He's losing the plot. And that's not even mentioning Brad "dives out of the way" Jones. So in short he's spent a lot of money made us worse at the back and fucking awful upfront. I think Rodgers is a deadman walking.

On episode 3 of Peaky blinders now. Really enjoying it and it's probably a series id have missed if it wasn't for this thread. Got some great stuff off it this year.
