Disappointed with NGog and Lucas, but then again I always am. However, Kuyt was immense today. I still think he's nowhere near Liverpool quality as a right-winger, but he's a great striker and a real poacher in the box. I just wish we could buy a world-class right winger and play Kuyt where he belongs.

In all my years supporting Liverpool I've never seen an injury crisis like the two we've got under Benitez:one in 2004/2005 and the other this season. Also I cannot remember any other Big 4 team suffering any similar crisis. Only Arsenal are the team that comes close.

I seem to remember Benitez having a fetish for CM's when he bought Sissoko, Lucas, Mascherano, Plessis and Spearing in a couple of seasons when we already had Gerrard and Alonso occupying those positions. But nowadays it seems it's right-back season.
