  1. Glad that Lars Leese`s "Traumhüter" has finally been translated; keeper of dreams.
  2. Hey Red Star ,remind us to use your humour when one of your family dies.
  3. The only ones of note that spring to mind are Hodgson,Sir Bobby and Milne.Thing is, you have to be a good manager in the first place to credit a move to foreign shores and the before mentioned had it.I suppose that foreign clubs look at the power British managers wield and decide that it wouldn`t really fit into their traditional set up of coach, director and president.Felix Magath at German champions elect Wolfsburg had it and now takes it to Schalke 04,but he really is the exception. Asides which British manager is going to teach johnny foreigner ball control, technique, guile and tactics.......answers directed to the FA please !!
  4. Borussia have managed to stay up with a 1-1 draw at home against Dortmund-rejoice !!.Marin should be going to Bremen.
  5. Agree with everything said. The patience Rafa craves was there as well.
  6. His crosses into the box are decent but he seems to deliver them too early. With a one striker system you just don`t have enough players in the box to warrant snap crossing.
  7. Not that the stats interest those twats at all............but, today was a hiding for all of those paid prats who think that they have manager credentials via the mic/camera.
  8. Has looked good recently and deserved his call-up to Ingerlund. But what can he really offer us ? With Martin back,we could afford Carra/Arbeloa as RB with the results of a decent build up play from many angles.Long balls from CB`s ,when only playing one striker, are not enough. The last two performances have shown a team that is tactically " in a groove". Who want`s a shoplifter anyway??
  9. Classic !! Decent player ,but nothing more.Remembered for that free-kick and for keeping Litmanen out of Houllier`s side.
  10. It`s called KaiserslauteRn and they thankfully know that Syrah is grown in regions adapted to this-hence there superb Dornfelder. It was Jerries that opposed us-and the free state of BayeRn would be shocked at the fact that, the self proclaimed "most knowledgeable fans in the land" ,have such geographical and culinary deficits. :wallbutt:
  11. Me neither-especially at a bloated price. But he made our goal today, and in all honesty we looked poorer after he came off.
  12. Chelsea lost something they treasured last weekend and bounced back in style today.Hope we have the same mettle.
  13. Typical Dane I suppose.Must have been bored at Madrid, like.
