I can see it now. One of our more popular players will be called a cunt, to the derision of the masses. Red Nick will start a thread that he will eventually apologise for on Friday. The forum will crash on at least one occasion Philyburkhill will generate a huge reaction to a post he makes. If its a bad result tonight, Ive learned its best to vacate the forum altogether ;)

The players didnt give Evans the respect he deserved. It was rollercoaster football though, with the amazing stuff tempered out by the utter turd we dished out at times. Just too nice a bloke to really cut it, and ended up getting walked over by certain players. Didnt enjoy much success in the transfer market although one or two did flourish after he left, namely Murphy and Paddy Berger (who did have a blazing start). Houllier is the man charged with our revival, although 2002 was his nadir. I think we could have perhaps kept Murphy for another season, all things considered, given the number of changes and injuries we had in Rafa's first season. -
Not sure that Degen would be the best choice for a team as physical as Bolton for his first game, given that he has the touch of the Aurelio/Kirkland/Made of Glass syndrome. Would love to see Darby given the opportunity though. I think Carra will probably shift to RB, and Sami will come in the centre. Wondering what sort of team will be put out against Spuds on Wednesday, historically, Rafa has picked fringe players, but wonder will Nando get 45 mins, and Bob may play (not necessarily at RB as I will imagine Degen will come in), as he is out for the Bolton game.

Could do with an arse win to stop the scum getting points, as the arse are a bit of a spent force, especially with the thin squad at the moment. Have a feeling that the Chavs may get a draw with Blackburn though.
