  1. I guess I'll just wait for the inevitable second before turning this fucker off. Can't imagine that will take too long.
  2. To be fair, he has been to the best possible coaching school.
  3. Alexander Kacaniklic Funny how he's the one who actually made it at Fulham instead of Dalla Valle and Butchmann.
  4. Just sign Nicolas Pepe. Lad is unstoppable at the moment.
  5. Conor Randall is still here? Cinco and Dynamite, what are your thoughts on Adam Lewis? We will almost certainly need a new left-back with Moreno. Think he's ready to step up? Or are we more likely to sign a new Robbo back-up?
  6. Think that's probably the norm for our January transfer windows.
  7. Was really forward to him in a red shirt and while I am still hoping Klopp can work his magic again, I got to admit I am getting more and more worried with every passing game. His position on the pitch has often been offered as an excuse but the truth is he just doesn't look like a PL player at the moment, nevermind an LFC one. It's all very Aspas/Aquilani-esque. Lots of cute but largely ineffective touches. General lack of intensity in his pressing game, comes second best in most duels, not particularly fast, positionally poor and can't tackle. Never thought I would say that at the start of the season but I would much rather Fabinho, Milner, Hendo and Gini start in midfield ahead of him right now. Seriously underwhelming thus far.
  8. Shaqiri has been a nice little signing and great rotation option overall. But, he does not really have the consistency to be a definite starter. While we will probably mainly sign back-up players this summer, I really do hope we at least finally get the Coutinho/Fekir replacement in terms of the first eleven.
  9. Not true. Mane was brilliant, constantly tried to make something happen.
  10. Fucking wasted opportunity. Nowhere near good enough today.
  11. Really don't like the narrative so far. Far too reminiscent of yesterday's game. Early goal, cancelled out by a goal in similar fashion to Rondon's. Scored by a player who should have seen red. I'm also getting more and more pessimistic about Keita's prospects here with every passing game.
  12. Going to need Keita to leave his Aquilani impression act behind tonight.
  13. I also reckon Juve is the team to beat. Have money on them since the early group stages. Jurgen also seems to think they are favourites.
  14. PSG are obviously a better side, but these manc cunts now have a Chelsea under Di Matteo feel about them. For my peace of mind, the sooner they get knocked out the better.
  15. That's utter bullshit. Chelsea was in their first year under Roman with lots of expensive flops like Veron, Crespo, Parker, Johnson, but still finished second. Teams like Curbishley's Charlton, Allardyce's Bolton, O'Leary's Villa and Coleman's Fulham were regularly making the top half of the table back then with headline players like Dean Kiely, Nolan, and Barry. Meanwhile, Spurs and City were finishing 14th and 16th. Not to mention we were also pretty shite in Houllier's last season. PL teams were much worse back then and it's not even close. Plus, Mourinho's Chelsea completely smashed literally the exact same Arsenal team and their points tally the following season, and again the season after that. That Arsenal team sure had some great players but as a team it also only won 26 out of 38, and many of their draws were pretty desperate that year. That was also their only trophy that year.
  16. We are not signing a new centre-back unless one of our current ones leave. We all in all likeliness will have to replace all of Moreno, Clyne and Mignolet this summer (unless we decide to promote Lewis, Camacho and Grabaha/Kelleher). But, in anticipation of where this discussion might be heading, may I already just say: 100m on Koulibaly > 50m on Maguire.
