1. I think that's started to be proved a bit of a myth to be honest, and that it could just be down to whoever's in the right places at the right times in their matches. I wouldn't be surprised if they joke with eachother about who's going to be the scorer or who'll score the most, but instead of denying eachother chances and being selfish (and causing the team problems.) they understand when the other is in the better position and then try and help if they have the ball, instead of going on selfish runs, etc. (or if the game is all but over and they're clearly winning by a decent margin, you'll see them maybe be a bit more selfish if they feel like it.)
2. I think Real Madrid have sorted todays ranting out for us, just seen what that article further up said.. In fact if Johnson decides where the fuck he's going I think that'll do me for the week, it's annoying reading about it all the time. I think Rafa might try and sign Owen aswell, just so that the blueshite don't get him. edit : Yayyy, just updated with : GOSSIP Tuesday's gossip column Torres vows "never" to join Man Utd, plus other rumours :D hmm : JOHNSON OPTS FOR LIVERPOOL Tuesday June 16,2009 RAFA BENITEZ is on the verge of making Glen Johnson Liverpool’s first summer signing after Chelsea beat a tactical retreat in their chase for the England defender. Portsmouth are understood to have agreed a fee with Liverpool following more talks yesterday that could eventually reach £18.5 million for one of the Premier League’s most daring full-backs. Liverpool will offset the outlay by selling Alvaro Arbeloa to Real Madrid for around £8m. They are also still owed £7m from Portsmouth as part of the deal that took Peter Crouch to Fratton Park last summer. Johnson, 24, had been the subject of a similar bid from Chelsea, but sources at Stamford Bridge last night indicated that their interest in a player who only left the club two years ago had waned. Anfield boss Benitez’s long-standing interest in Johnson is thought to have been a major factor in the player indicating he preferred a move to Merseyside. Manchester City, Tottenham and Bayern Munich had also been keen on Johnson, but the prospect of helping Liverpool push on from last season’s second-place finish in the Premier League appeals. Despite the size of the fee, it is an indication of the constraints that Benitez is working under that Arbeloa, who began his career at Real Madrid, will be sacrificed to help fund the cash. Real president Florentino Perez is pursuing other high-profile targets first, among those being Xabi Alonso, because he is aware that a move for Arbeloa will be straightforward. Benitez is also likely to allow Andrea Dossena to return to Italy after just one season at the club with Juventus interested in a £6m deal. Daily Express | Sport | Football
3. Might be because Perez was being funded by Hicks and Gillett, and Hicks just rang him yesterday to tell him that they're........ "having some problems freeing up some cash, but we're gonna get this sucker sorted out!"
4. BBC haven't even made tuesdays gossip column yet, that's seriously lazy.
5. Nah I just thought I'd do it as I was bored, kind of pointless really, but I thought that if I did this one it'd stop me from doing any more for other thousands. Would've posted it in the *F but I'd have been negged to shit for FF on the *F, etc.... Hopefully it'll just sink soon anyway. A good excuse to post Aggers goal again though if nothing else.
6. Well they'll either have to ban them or we'll surely hear them at the world cup. And by that time they might have sorted something out so that the people over there can actually get in the grounds cheaper and fill them up more, which will just mean more and more of them. I thought they were funny yesterday but over time they'll probably drive me mad, and will just have to turn the sound off like llegovski said. It'll be a relief not hearing the bullshit the commentators come out with anyway.
7. Or you could shave your head, do a daft grin every now and then, lose weight and be Mike Riley. Please tell me Riley doesn't do internationals. He'd probably notice the Liverpool players in the Spanish games if he had one or more, remember Slur and start fucking them over. But he'd probably be gutted when they just outclassed the other side and there was nothing he could remotely give a foul/pen for as the game went on.
8. Was hoping this would be the later match so I could watch it, can't believe Egypt put 3 past them and it was so close. Hopefully we'll see Spain vs Brasil at somepoint, could be great to watch.
9. I think I totally agree with what Hansen said to Phil McNulty in his latest bit on the BBC : "He had his critics at Newcastle, but maybe the service wasn't the best and if he moves he is likely to be playing with better players. If you get him fit he will score goals." "It might be a surprise that his management need to advertise him but I don't see a problem with that. They are simply doing their job for their client and maybe they are not happy with the offers they have had, but I would be amazed if he didn't get a club." BBC - BBC Sport: Phil McNulty: Is Owen still worth a gamble? Agreed that the way this has been written about so much must be badly embarassing for him, but if it gets him a better club he probably won't be arsed.
10. I'll be happy when this is decided, it's starting to get on my tits now.
11. It is when it's spelt Irony's! (not trying to be a smartarse, it just made me laugh.)

13. He knew it'd make him jig around and he wanted to see the mop shake.
14. Hopefully this will be my only thread related to any thousandth posting, and am dedicating each thousand to something. Was going to say something along with each, but nothing needs to be said really so I'll spare you the waffling : 1000 : 2000 : 3000 : Actually, I'll just add that if Xabi doesn't come 1st or at least 2nd next time the player of the year award comes around, some people seriously need their heads testing.
15. It'd be cool if both managers would stop saying shit that feeds this situation......it's annoying. Mind you if they don't the press just warp something to fit anyway I suppose.
16. Wrong, I post here too. Thanks for forgetting me.
17. I thought I read a few weeks back that this was getting sorted out sometime in the near future? Hopefully we'll at least have a better deal before the year's out. They should really get a move on with this as we're already lagging so far behind with our smaller stadium, it's fucking annoying to know that even our sponsor deal is less than half of what others get aswell.
18. Agreed with this too, and he might end up back at Barca this window if they pursue him enough.
19. Been trying to figure out the midfield since I saw you post, and the nearest I can guess is : --------------Cazorla---------Xabi ---Fabregas----------Silva-------------Riera
20. I know, sorry, I'm in mong mode today so my typing is crap. Found out a relative had to have major surgery earlier so I'm kind of zombie'd out a bit.
