I don’t have a problem with Chelsea buying young players with potential, what I do have a problem with is when clubs like Chelsea have a Goal Keeper Thibaut Courtois for example and just loan him to the same club for 3 years. Having so many players out on Loan is crazy.

@BenSmithBBC Contrary to reports elsewhere, I am told #LFC have not made a late bid for Tom Ince

I do have serious concerns over Kelly, I cant see Rodgers playing him in a CB role and he has been back in the squad and training regulary for quite sometime now and even when Johnson was playing gash he wouldnt play him in that role. He even put Sterling at RB on at least 1 occasion. When Flanno come on against Bournmouth on Saturday , in the short space of time he was on he field he got up the wing into a danger position more than Kelly had donme in the whole match..I think he is lacking alot of confidence or something is still niggling him to do with his injury. We need to Strengthen and swapping Agger will only weaken an already fragile defence

Not so sure if we got rid off Agger we would have the reserves in our current CB structure. We have just let Illori leave on loan untill the summer, Sakho is not at full fitness either. Coates is probably off aswell that leaves us with just Skrtel and Toure to look after those CB roles. even with Sakho back i still think it leaves us short....If it meant signing him now and letter agger go in the summer then its not to bad.

They have also 'possibly' took more points of the top teams than we have in the past few seasons. not that , that makes them a better side but they certainly are not as easy a team as they used to be.

Sturridge Moses Skrtel -
I think your getting him confused with Cissokho, to compare Sakho and Djimi is like saying David Moyes is a great football manager, complete rubbish

Just seen this on the Beeb More from Everton boss Roberto Martinez on the possibility of their move for Monaco striker Lacina Traore being scuppered by a serious injury to his colleague Radamel Falcao: "It was shocking news around European football yesterday when a player of the quality of Falcao gets a long term injury. But I hope that the decision of any of the players wasn't based on an injury to another team-mate. We will have to wait and see. "We are really far down the line now. It will be a real disappointment not to be able to complete it. So we will have to see what today brings."

Read an article earlier saying that Oyston sacked him by text. He seems pretty fucked off that instead of looking for trasfers and looking at the club, he pissed off to a training course for 2 days without telling Oyston.

I understand the point your trying to make but I thing using De jong as an example in your other post does not fit what you are saying. Im not saying he is a world beater but he is a quality player who would improve on that position for the short term for example, getting us into the CL. He is 29 and has played for Ajax, Hamburg, City and AC and is still playing international football for Holland. Coutinho is not exactly a regular for Brazil or was he at Inter but look how that has turned out for us. I think we have been linked to a lot worse players than De jong but at the same time agree that id like us to be linked to some higher profile players but not just for the sake of it.

2nd Feb. How many of you will be watching this? between the American Football Conference (AFC) champions Denver Broncos and National Football Conference (NFC) champions Seattle Seahawks. Always try and take the Monday off work to stay up and watch it. This also looks very interesting http://www.campandfurnace.com/2014/01/fanpark-special-super-bowl-sunday-02-02-14/
