It just shows how poor both villereal and porto really are, they are just mid table teams in terms of european calibre better teams have left CL and they have just become fodder for Arsenal and ManU, it really does piss me off when we just get Chelsea who are actually a good team and they have that crap. I cant believe after one match Skrtel has now become a poor defender and player, He is what Twenty three and playing at a level far beyond his years and he cost fuck all. He has developed so much and will continue to do so, his young and will make mistakes like all defenders but he is still excellent in my opinion, he has areas in his game he needs to improve on, like his dominance in ariel possitions on corners for us and the opposition but thats something Rafa will work on and he will learn. I swear we are not used to having young players develop at liverpool because all we do is criticise we never seem to realise that players learn throughout their entire career as a player, we are very lucky to have him here and should just say it was a bad game that is all. Maybe he has also lost form considering how consistant it is not surprising, also didnt Skrtel piss all over Drogba last season at the home tie i can remeber many saying how he did so well. Unlike Agger and Hyppia who many times have struggles against him. You cannot single out one player for last nights performance it was a team effort all the way through, the team were shite and Chelsea were excellent its football these things happen to the best teams and best managers isnt the unpredictability why we love football.

This says to me that you rarely watch the Italian League, i maybve wrong though. For me its really developing and will be for at least two more years, their current venture into the champs league for Juve was a big step for them they havent had that sort of exprience in a long time. The likes of Pato, Giovinco, Hamsik, Levazzi, Thiago Silva, Santon etc are all breathing a new life into Serie A and it looks likely to continue. Their whole footballing atittude has changed it isnt so defensive it looks to play football and not just based around tactics and all of these changes and developments need time. As in 2010 they the top four i think have signed a tv deal that will be worth more the premiership, i think i even heard it will be the most in the world, this is likely to keep many of the stars and payers and their current clubs as they will be able to afford bigger contracts and fees etc. Their are two leagues that are really becoming a joke and that is the french and dutch they are simple shite and to be ohnest its sad to see. Maybe like Italy they will rebound one day but it isnt going to be soon. Italy is far from dead in fact we should be looking over our shoulder as they are coming.

He knows the game, and im not sure about his football knowledge nor am i sure about his reputation within the game but its likely to be more than parry's thats for sure. Id much rather have someone like McParland than parry thats for sure, if Rafa feels he can trust him thats the main thing, and also id much rather have someone that would listen to Rafa rather than going no i feel he is a better candidate when he probably isnt. We need someone for the football side and someone for the financial side and when Rafa is concerned the football part is hugely important and he needs to have belief in this person which he didnt with parry. It will ease Rafa's mind which would hopefully bring about a calmer person but also a better time with players etc. Its a good move for me whether its the right one only time will tell but im not against it.

Juve i would disagree with and Bayern as well but maybe he knows this and wouldnt mind he would know what he is getting with thoughs clubs, with Liverpool and Valencia maybe he felt he had the ideas and the image to gain such strength within the club. He is asking for a new contract because he wants to have full reigns he doesnt just want to be a coach he wants to have a certain amount of control within this club and you know that. Well because in my opinion he deserves it hes is a great coach that could do wonders with many teams in the top four of five of any league in europe or the world. Rafa is trying his best to develop a football culture from top to bottom granted he wnats it be his but at least their would be one but we have owners and ceo's and whoever else who havent got a fucking clue what he is going on about because they know fuck all about football. Wether a player sees that another player is shit doesnt really give any credibility to any story i would never trust a player to be a good judge of a team mate or foreigner, nor manager mainly because their intelligence is rather low its why they are footballers and not working in a bank their gift has been placed in their feet. All Rafa does is try and persuade us that everything is ok he does it to try and appease the anger that could be leveled at him but it can always back fire especially at this club because most of us know our stuff. By the way Rafa also didnt lie about the game against middleborough we were in control and playing well in the first half an hour then we feel apart granted he didnt really acknowledge this but still he didnt lie at all. Rafa needed the money most likely for this summer maybe he felt the only opportunity would be that point in time considering robbies age and maybe the season he could would of had. Dossena personally i cant see he is being slated for he was considered a top full back and played very well he looked very good all through out the season which i can say is true as i whatched Udinese rather alot last year. So his judgement cannot be lambasted because a player could not or hasnt settled or simply may not be good enough but that is a risk you take with every transfer. As for Ngog he is nineteen and has plenty of time to develop he is also our fourth striker, it is the strikers in between we should be leveling blame upon for not scoring rather than Ngog who for does show like he has talent but is simply a sqaud player which im sure Rafa knows and will only use him in this role. I can remember people were shouting for bent when we got Torres who would you want now, transfers are allways a risk. Lucas control of the midfield is improving he needs to be quicker with his as his feet has great passing ability if he can have a calm mind he could be a very good player. His is the sort of player that a team needs but he shouldnt be our main point of creativity, say if you were to play three i midfield he would be the guy that just floats around the centre circle making the passing and simply moving the ball the DM and a more attacking midfielder would take up the deficiancies he has.

When al the shit at the academy is sorted yes, Rafa im sure knows their is talent that i superior to that in the reserves but he is playing a stupid game for in same ways the right reasons. I have never agreed with Rafa is doing their but it is to improve the whole set up which it seems it then i can live with that. As for our football i think consistantly it still can be classed as shite but when we get it right we are head and shoulders abouve geds teams. I look at the first half performance of atheltico madrid a team that is doing very well in LA Liga look at last nights match with Barca they have very good players and a good team. Yet we showed so much control class power everything i know Rafa wants from this team. Its a half of football i could ohnestly watch again and again because it was posestion football or Rafa styles at its best its a style of football i enjoy immensely. Our problem is obviously consistancy now with better players we are more likely to have a more consistant form of football as even if their level drops it would still be good enough. When are levels currently drop in this team they are very low and performances such as middlesborough will happen and quite alot that is just the way the team is at the moment. Luckily though it could well change very quickly this summer and we could see a very consistent style of play.

If Rafa had Hamman like player he would be here instead of lucas that was simply the luck of the draw with Hamman winding down his career he was available on the bench, many teams would cry out for his quality now and im sure many teams will actually want lucas he has great positives it just his negatives are shown up truly in the prem but hopefully development and understanding will correct this. To call Rafa an idiot is also such a insult, the man probably has a mind far superior to mine and yours and thats only when involved with football let alone anything else. To be ohnest our play or our ideas of football are rather good or would be with better players to implement them if we had a balanced side whare two defenders would have to double up on the right hand side like they do with our left mainly with babel we would have alot more space around the pitch and also full backs that can cross with pace would sort us out greatly. Now are play does have to improve and hopefully it will which would likely lead to better results. So your telling me a first team with Masch, Torres, Skrtel, Babel, Reria, Alonso, and a much better Gerrard and Carra isnt a huge improvement on when Ged left i feel it definatly is and its also alot younger its unfortunate that the rest of the team is a letting the side down which is funny considering the positions Ged brought rather well their i suppose. Our youth is also coming along at a stronger level a level that will most likely play for us and do very well with Insua, Kelly, San Hose possibly Pacheco and if the all the academy shit is sorted then more and more and the shit in the reserves will most likely be shipped out as well and then their will be likely no complaining from many. For all the shit this club is put through and looks like it is failing their is a huge future and that is because of Rafa

To a point i agree coop they should be a pairing that is kept together but we also need to develop another partnership should both or either get injured the only options really are young players and they could possibly be to much of risk for many on here considering what the fans are demanding. For me its really only the right RW and RB that need sorting both positions need a more gifted player that for sure. The left positions are sorted if Babel can get his act together and be the player he has showed he can be he just need a consistant partner with him one he doesn't have to worry about and hopefully with Insua or Aurelio he could really develop a relationship. It could be very much like Ronaldo in Evra. Insua would be my prefered option as it wouldnt require him to attack loads but just enough which he is brilliant at. If we could get a right side with say Kuba who could also play in gerrards role as he has done it very well and so can babel, or possibly renato augusto again similar players but would offer us so much more than Kuyt. A full back probably similiar to Aurelio would be ideal for the right a player great defensive capabilities but they have great timing in attack. That for me is about twenty mil all in all if Insua is as good as we fill and thoughs players are available. If that is the case that leaves use supposedly with 10 mil or so depending on player sales or our current venture in CL and league. That for me needs to go straight into the midfield and a creative midfielder with pace on and off the ball but also can just stay and know when to leave the centre circle, someone like Hamsik would be brilliant but he may well be out of our price range.

Your actually suggesting two managers of teams who have just failed in about every competition and are below our position in both respected leagues your insane, i swear everybod has this misconception that villa play good football its laughable they punt long balls up to carew or young or just look at corners or free kicks no matter how bad you think our play we pass the ball a hell of alot better than both teams and look to open teams in a much better way. Also you say the manager could take us to the next level considering our current climate isnt that a huge risk, their are a few coaches that could probably get us playing better football but at such a consistant level i doubt it very much. If you gave Rafa any team in the top two or three around europe i feel he could win the league based on their teams. We just need to face it that most of our team arnt good enough and granted blame can be leveled at Rafa but also around the whole club just as much. Currently we have three world class players Masch, Gerrard and Torres. With Carra and Riera being very good in their positions. Skrtel, Babel, Insua and possibly San Hose or kelly could become very good to world class players when given the time and a team that would improve them as well as visa versa, the rest our team is mearly squad players and that is where we are failing. We are in a position that is currently 1000 times better than when ged left, so why the fuck should Rafa go we are improving but people are to fucking impatient have at look at yourselves first before the manager is what should be happening. For me i would Rafa be given another one or two summers with a budget and people who can deal with contracts in a timely fashion its what every other manager has had bar Rafa and how the fuck can you argue with that but im sure some people will. I never will say Rafa is perfect and i will allways welcome development and if that means a new manager so be it but not now, not with these owners and certainly not with the position we are currently in terms of players and development on the pitch.

So are to best players have been out for allot of the season yet we have challenged and got through many points of the season where last season i feel we would have definatly struggled again this in improve and development. It is these small details that do improve that must be considered it shows we are turning corners in development of players and systems. Our systems and positioning of players has developed allot this season more so than i thought it would, their are systems begging for better players which can hopefully happen. Again this is turned into Rafa bashing as we haven't had a player good enough to fill the gap but constraints on money and a look forward to the summer are obviously reasons why, also most likely availability of players that would be good enough to carry the burden of a title challenge which in all fairness would be very slim but again people never think of this it seems. Why on earth are Everton being brought into this its like we people are saying Moyes should be brought here for fuck sake. I really don't think people really have an idea of the level that liverpool has to compete at regurley it is alot higher every week in the champions league as well as in the league than Everton could ever cope with. They would have to put in displays like they did against us every week, this they couldn't cope with they would fail miserably. ManU have had hardly any injurey worries compared us really plus they do have a squad that can cope, currently their squad players are as good as our first team on some parts of the pitch and obviously this needs to change, but this can only come with alot of money and a manager with freedom to spend it. Fans say they cannot trust Rafa with cash but if we look at first choices for Rafa, we have Evra, Avles Vidic, Eto and possibly Villa now four of thoughs players are currently considered in the top five or higher in their possitions this to me says Rafa has a great judge for Talent especialy young talent at the time but resources stupidity and timing have scupered many a deal. We need to let Rafa be relaxed in his position and allow him the opportunity to really go full out for his targets not only in the first but also at lower levels of our club and the coaching staff Currently we are over achieving with current team we have that can be seen as a plus and a minus for Rafa in many fans eyes. I ohnestly do not understand any fans anymore have you seen the progression we have made we have been champions of fucking europe and are consistantly at a high level their all the time your telling me that houllier etc would be able to do this. We have made a title challenge plus being good in europe we havent really don it over the last few seasons yet we have now that shows progress, it is all about competing at the highest level in all competitons could you say houllier and evans did this, has Rafa more or less yes. I read an item not so long ago about Man Unite having six coaches for the team whare as i think they said we have four, now maybe it is though little differences that need to be solved more so than the team. As for our team if we can look at possibly a more mobile midfielder but with the nature to know when to break and when not that we most likely be with the sales of Lucas or Alonso i imagine. Then RB and RW both positions need a huge upgrade we have quad players playing in first team slots especially on that side so we should be definatly looking their. If we are insistant on playing 4231 then a striker or at least a highly creative midfielder would also be another option. For me if we can keep the reserves we have as well promote from within which could likely happen more when if Rafa has control over the academy then i feel we will have a sqaud that is experienced youthful and wanting to win. Our left hand side is good and could be great, although i do see dossena being sold, with Insua and Aurelio i feel we have a great tandem their and also if Reria can push himself and maybe a younger winger with alot of potential could come in for Babel as i do see him moving to the striker slot which again may solve our striker problem or he may well be sold but for me thats a mistake. Next season could be a great fresh season and have alot of great football as long as we get the right players.

So maybe as fans we should just appreciate what we have for the time being become a bit more relaxed with our manager and let him do his thing. We should be concentrating really on getting the many fuckers that are effecting this club out of it and that for me doesn't include rafa. At the moment is Rafa leaves Hicks etc just have free reign on everything without any knowledge of football at least with Rafa we have a man obssesed with game and wanting to achieve for me that its a better situation him staying and getting everything he wants than leaving at this moment.

Most people would say that is Rafa's fault as well i imagine. We have many average players who perform generally at a higher level consistently than they probably should do which is mainly down to Rafa in my opinion. Now some will point to the fact that he has brought these players in which he has but I imagine if you asked who were your preferred options at the time the list I imagine would contain some rather good players, but money restrictions, incompetence and the many areas we have in this team that need feeling only allow for a certain type of player. We are nearly their in my opinion, we have a great spine we all know this it is a spine with very good ability and players with so much potential now if we add such quality to the areas we are so desperate for then surely we will win the league. Rafa has the mind to win the league I have no doubt about that he just needs a quality of player to achieve it much like he did at Valencia as a team for me it was probably better than ours individually maybe not so but the team is the key but again I can see progression and the staff are creating a bond and we seem allot more a unit this season. This summer Rafa has a big decision to make and hopefully with new owners or at least a nice cash injection as well as some players sales he will be able to make a team he would crave. selling the likes of Kuyt, Arbeloa, Alonso etc are very good ideas but only if you have the players you wont to fill such roles obviously. Would I love to Kuba instead of kuyt of course I would, would i love to see Hamsik instead of Alonso i would have to say yes as they are better players and also allow for a future that would be based on youthful style of football but with the energy and defensive nature that Rafa wants from all his teams. Rafa will never be a man everyone agrees with that’s just the nature of the man, but if you give he a team that we all know is good then he will win it i have no doubt about that. I hope Rafa stays and is given the opportunity of just one season with allot of cash and quick decision making behind the scenes then we will have a manager that I am sure would be confident in himself the team and the club and that can only be beneficial to all of us a club.

well yes thats true but has he had the players or squad to win the league as well as various other cups then the answer would be no. Also have we got closer yes. Rafa seems to want to be successful in every competition until we get knocked out its a simple thaught but it deamnds alot from a team and sqaud which we havent had over the last five years until possibly now. We are currently in a possition where fro me Rafa needs to stay he is two to three players off from his required squad and first team as well as systems give him one more summer and allow him to get his true targets which for me is what he needs and then lets see that season if it fails fair enough he has had his time but at least he will most likely leave us with a team that will be going places. The same couldnt be said for when Ged left, Rafa gets huge amounts of critisisum these days but what he has made this club in terms of stature in european and league football should be applauded unfortunatly many fans will just look at the current rather than past it seems.
