WOWS 8.7/10 Would have been higher due if it wasn't for the last 1/2 he or so which obviously was wrapping up the true story but seem to go on a bit for me. Can only echo what has already been said. DiCaprio is excellent, Jonah Hill very good and Mcconaughy's cameo was superb. That guys career has turned around somewhat.... All in all very good film, best I've seen in a long while although I suspect it will get edged out in most of the Oscar categories.

For me you could have practically any scene with Toby Ziegler in it. Great character, superbly acted.

Went there as part of my honeymoon with (the former) Mrs KP. Awesome place, although too hot in August. However, my greatest memory is how claustrophobic I felt there. In mid-Manhatten all you seemingly can see is skyscraper after skyscraper. We were there for 4 days and still couldn't pack in half of what we would have wanted to do. I reckon 10 days will be great. You can do all the tourist stuff and also take in some more of the local life as well. Will definitely be going back, and I expect within the next 18 mths. Quite fancy a Nov/Dec time taking in some f**tball of the American kind.

Whatever happens, we need to have Coutinho in the hole. I think I've read you saying previously that he is very good on the left but even better behind the striker (paraphrasing) and that to me is key. The last guy I loved in a red shirt was Xabi. Thought I was too old and cynical to love again. That was until this lad came along.

Play off 16. Like everybody can have good days when I think I've cracked it followed by shockers when I want to chuck the clubs away. Played quite a bit this summer. Fair amount of it being links golf which I think has a tendency to fuck my swing up!!! Would love to get into single figures but just don't think I play regularly enough to get that consistency. Best tip I've had is sorting my grip out. Used to be too 'strong' and much more neutral now which has allowed more consistent ball striking for me.

I've said before that I have been underwhelmed by him in this series having not seen much of him previously. Maybe he has been carrying this injury for a while? As you say, the experts seem to think he is top quality so will be good to see how he goes down under if he is fully fit.
