Great effort from Murray. Had a great tournament and deserved it. He is right up there as far as British sporting talent goes and we should enjoy it while he is around. We will soon enough go back to rejoicing when some no-mark gets to the third round of Wimbledon. What an era of tennis.

Had a couple quid e/w on Lowry so shame that didn't come in. Went to bed but the penalty ruling sounded like a farce. To be fair Johnson deserves a win. He has been close a number of times.

Bloke chucks a ball at you from 10 yards and I would say that there is enough doubt that he is doing anything beyond reacting to this. It would have been good if Starc and then Smith had reached differently but they are sportsmen I the heat of the battle hence why I blame it on 3rd umpire.

Feel sorry for the guy but Lyth just isn't good enough at this level. I wonder if we will persist with him at Trent Bridge? Probably will as there is no obvious better option.

Interesting because it will actually put a bit of pressure on the old guard. Feels like this maybe potentially be the start of a new generation for English cricket. There's a lot of fresh, confident, aggressive cricketers in that team. They've made a mark and the pressure will be on the likes of bell, broad etc.

Anybody see Woods carded an 85 today. Not too shabby!!!! . Caught a bit of the first round and his driving was all over the place. I think the guy could be finished.

I'm a Somerset fan. Gutted to have lost both keepers in the last year. Proper shame for Kieswetter - only 27 and years ahead of him. To have lost two keepers of their class hurts but Buttler is quality. Just hope England use him properly. In other news Chris Gayle is enjoying his time at the county ground. If ever a ground suited him it would be Taunton.

Cant stand Djokovic. I totally get that he is right up there as one of the very best to have played the game but I have to say its an 'anybody but him' when I'm watching. I'll be rooting for Stan tomorrow.
