  1. I think Trumo is your man for that. Diwali this year is 26th Oct 2011 and the hindu new year is 27th Oct 2011. Good luck with your research.
  2. Mate...We don't have a festival when we give gifts of gold to each other. The only festival we have is in april called Vasakhi but we don't give gold out. Its only on weddings when you will get the girl's side give out gold rings to the the boys side. Hindu's celebrate diwali and their new year which is oct-nov time..don't know if they give gold out...Don't think so... We celebrate diwali too but don't give gold out. The other festival this time of the year is eid and ramahdan which muslims celebrate but don't know if they give gold out. Hope that helps.
  3. So smilar to the papers reporting pub lady wins against sky, when in reality she still can't use a European decorder in a pub. Don't always believe what's written.
  4. Thats wrong. The arsenal deal dosnt Include the 250 million remaining stadium debt. So it's 1 billion pound value of arsenal. Liverpool they paid 220 million to wipe debt. So they did get it at the rock bottom price.
  5. Interesting.................... American ownership's hold on the Premier League's elite clubs continues with the news that the New York Times Company owns a stake of 16.58% in Liverpool Football Club. GettyImages LeBron James is another US-shareholder in the Anfiield club Following Stan Kroenke's move to take over Arsenal, Fenway Sports Group, the owners who wrested control from George Gillett and Tom Hicks in October, have released the information as required by Premier League rules which state that any ownership of more than 10 per cent must be declared. A statement from FSG said: "The economic interest in this company is held by a range of investors, including Tom Werner. "Those holding more than a 10 per cent interest are John Henry and the New York Times Company (which is quoted on the New York Stock Exchange). John Henry and Tom Werner are generally responsible for the management of Fenway Sports Group." It was revealed last week that NBA megastar Lebron James has also invested in the club, while chairman Werner is one of "a range of investors".
  6. What am getting at is that they didn't pay £300 million for the club..They payed £200 million which was the debt owed to the banks. The £300 million figure includes the £30 million stadium debt and also other liabilites like transfer fees owed etc.... But they got us by paying off the debt. And it really was a epic swindle.
  7. Yes they got us for the cheapest price possible. Hopefully the money saved will be used to strenghten the squad and loan to build a stadium.
  8. NESV have a bargain..£220 million they paid. Build a new stadium ...put debt on the club and the club will be worth at least £750 million. And we are a bigger brand.
  9. Thats the clause. Add on 25 million in wages over the next 5 years. 50 million and for a 29 year old that's too much. Even though he his a goalkeeper. Mancs or Arsenal will never pay that. I think torres £50 million plus £50 million in wages making him the £100 million player is the last you will see for any one over 27 years old.
  10. All other clubs are looking at building new stadia...Chelsea..Spurs...West Ham...etc..to provide world class facilites and we redevelope existing ageing stands. On top of going through planning permission again etc. Whislt we could have started on stanley park site tomorrow. They have done really well NESV but really do not have the money behind them.
  11. About 5 years late....about time........He's a..Bully..Liar.....(He put Atkinson under pressure and it worked as Atkinson didn't send scholes off against arsena also was trying to be clever with the media banl)........ Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been suspended for five matches and handed a £30,000 fine following comments he made about referee Martin Atkinson earlier this month. Sir Alex Ferguson: Will miss the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City Following a controversial 2-1 defeat at Chelsea Ferguson said he had "feared the worst" when Atkinson was appointed match official for the Premier League clash on March 1, adding: "You want a fair referee, or a strong referee anyway - and we didn't get that." The FA's disciplinary board have imposed a three match touchline ban and activated a suspended two-match ban that hung over the United manager after accusing referee Alan Wiley of being "not fit" after a 2-2 draw with Sunderland at Old Trafford last season. Ferguson will be confined to the stands for the FA Cup semi-final with Manchester City at Wembley as well as Premier League clashes with Bolton, West Ham, Fulham and Everton. The United boss was angry over Atkinson's failure to dismiss Chelsea defender David Luiz for fouls on Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney after he had already been booked. He was further upset when Chelsea were awarded what he considered a "soft" winning penalty when Yuri Zhirkov took a tumble under a challenge from United centre-back Chris Smalling. With Premier League leaders United just three points ahead of Arsenal, who have a game in hand, the lengthy suspension could have a big impact on the title race.
  12. Lying fuckers..he's back in training it was fuck all in it just a minor cut... Nani boost for UnitedMarch 14, 2011 Email Print By ESPNsoccernet staff Manchester United winger Nani could be set to face Marseille on Tuesday after returning to training. Associated Nani appears likely to play some part against Marseille on Tuesday • Ferguson: Nani will miss three games • Rooney thrilled to have Valencia back • Arrests made in FA Youth Cup tie Nani suffered a gash in his leg in a high challenge from Jamie Carragher during the 3-1 defeat at Liverpool, and Sir Alex Ferguson had said on Friday that he would not be available for United until after the international break. However, Ferguson revealed this weekend that Nani had recovered more quickly than expected and could be available for Tuesday's Champions League tie at Old Trafford. "Nani has had the stitches removed and has a chance for Tuesday," he said. "He's done some work on the bike, but the problem is that he hasn't trained yet." Nani did make a return to training on Monday morning, though, and now looks likely to be included in the squad. Park Ji-Sung, recovering from a hamstring injury, was taking part in separate fitness work with one of the coaches, while Owen Hargreaves - who sustained a hamstring injury six minutes into his most recent comeback in November - was training with the reserves. Michael Carrick and Michael Owen were also at Carrington after their calf and knee injuries, but Rio Ferdinand was nowhere to be seen. Ferguson has said he will not be fit until after the international break. Darren Fletcher also missed out on the session due to a virus.
  13. The weekend before his move one of the papers ran with something along the lines of that he had been "verbally intimated" at liverpool.
  14. What Chelsea fans are saying about him......................... "I don't have a problem with his lack of goals as once he gets his 1st touch sorted they will surely come - his movement is excellent and our midfield , other strikers have to get used to it and pass, move accordingly What I have a problem with is his attitude , 1st one up the tunnel after the Blackpool game and didn't chase a chaseable ball in the 2nd half and looked thoroughly fed up - it's all about him it would appear " "am surprised more hasn't been made of him going up the tunnel while the rest of the team came to applaud the fans on Monday. It certainly didn't escape my attention, you would think with the amount his name gets sung and him not playing at full tilt at the moment he would recognise this and want to keep the fans sweet." "Did he have a single pass today? really, did he fkn have a single fkn pass today to a teammate? Drogba deserves to play ahead of him, Anelka deserves to play ahead of him, and Kalou showed today in 30 minutes more than Torres has shown in all he's games in chelsea shirt put together. And that is not even exaggerating it. Even Kezman played with more desire and heart back in the days... think about it... " Looks like he's trying to justify his move, when he knows he might have screwed up.
  15. What you on about?. Carroll £35 million plus £70,000 per week 6 year deal. Total package £56 Million. And He will have resale value.
  16. That was a guess. He's on good money say £100,000, so £20 million plus 6 years wages of £30 million, £50 million investment in a player who will have no resale value. The way football is now can't see any club paying that.
  17. I think people need to understand that Torres will be playing a part in this, to justify is decision to move he will have a negative impact on reina. Also we should bear in mind that if he did want to go last summer he would have. So he did give the club time. The timing of the interview is shocking, why did he give it in the first place. He's coming out with the same shit about romance as torres. One thing though fergie would love to get him but would united spend £20 million on a 29year old with £120,000 wages. Also nesv need start showing some balls.
  18. Fergie saying rio out too but would not believe it. If he's over his injury start with carrol. Just his presence would be difficult for them.
  19. I thought that to at first. But the more you think about it, off the ball he's gone for him on camera. If they get people ringing in and reporting it they have to do something. Its an assault.
  20. What shit coming out... the FA are powerless bullshit...Surely they have agreed with clattenberg to not proceed with it... all that he needs to say is he dealt with it at the time ... Riley says clattenberg did right thing at the time in following the ball but then surely he didn't see the elbow ..so he needs to tell the FA he seen a coming togeather but missed the elbow. Guys on other forums are now reporting to Greater manchester Police that they witnessed a assault on 0161 872 5050 that if the FA can let this thug away with it everytime then its about time the police got involved.
  21. You cant compare that to gerrard's thats far worser.Gets paid £200,000 a week to do that. Thug on the pitch needs to be put on a lead. He deserves a 10 match ban.
