SoccerMax one is getting funnier but also slightly weirder by the week. They've got a Deadline day special out this week so hopefully they slag of Mereles for leaving at the last minute! Glad we didn't get Yossi back tho.

I listen to this one: SoccerMax Podcast - The world's number one football podcast Very knowledgeable and hilarious at times - although a bit crude! Run by two Liverpool fans....... but also a Manc and a Bitter. Makes a change from the run of the mill ones.

Not a big fan of football ramble as they think they are too funny. Guardian football weekly is the one for the purists. Have been listening to the SoccerMax podcast recently, loads funnier than the others and has a couple of Liverpool fans hosting. soccermaxpodcast.co.UK I think. Anyone else heard it yet?

Howdy, It's looking likely that we won't be getting the 5th place European slot now but does anyone know if there any other ways to qualify for next season? I'm thinking Intertoto(does it still exist?), Fair Play record?, United or Chelsea winning Champs league and FA CUP? Bribbing Uefa officials? Some people have suggested 'it will do us good' not being in Europe next season to concentrate on the league. Personally I think it is very sad that we won't be in Europe next season. x

The ref has lost it, he really has. Non of the bookings were warranted in my opinion. Maybe he was going out with the Lino Lady and she dumped him. I was gonna call first dibs on her until she messed up that other decision against Maxi. :)

Well there's a shock! If they were serious business men then they would of been there in person just like Purslow, Ayres and Broughton. One would imagine it would have worked against them that they didn't turn up in person.!

I met Nick Leeson a few years ago when he came into my Internet Cafe in Chester. I believe he had been doing some after dinner speaking somewhere on how he foofed up the economy. Anyway, although perfectly pleasant, he was clearly a few sandwiches short of a picnic - genuinely mental and just looked plain lost. Mind you, you would be after what he'd been through! I'd ignore anything he has to say or at least take with a large shovel of salt.

Word up. Just had to take the misses to see the Physio. I got chatting to the receptionist whilst waiting who just happens to be the wife of Dave Galley(LFC physio). She said to me not worry about Stevie this weekend. Dave decided to withdraw him from the England squad(he is the england physio too) to make sure he's fine for saturday. Apparently he'll be 100% for Spurs. Good man!

Just looked at the ressie team playing tonight amd the most notable absence is Nemeth. Although it includes Mr Ngog. I believe Nemeth had a blinder at the weekend so it may well see him promoted to the bench ahead/instead of Ngog. Thoughts chaps?
