Ryan Cox appears to be part of the Huddersfield setup for now, has a few appearances for their U-18s (though he didn't play in the 4-0 game we had against them a few days back).

Should note I guess that I need just the one. My 30th tomorrow and hoping for a springboard into a great night and decade. Am round City Centre so can pick up there tonight or tomorrow, or near Anfield before the match.

Was watching the game last night with a friend of mine who's a Red over from Italy--a Lazio supporter, even, though not of the skinhead variety--and he's been gushing over Aquilani, said he thought there was no way Roma would let him go, and if they did it would've been to Real or someone with money to burn--the asking price would've been half again as much if he'd been healthy when we came calling. These past few months he's said that once Aquilani was back, he could end up as our player of the season no matter how many Torres knocks in, he's just that confident in how well suited the boy is for our side. I for one can't wait to find out if he's right.

Shaded by last weekend maybe, but Paul McShane almost always looks completely out of his depth. You know, in addition to being a petulant little shit.

Getting into the program (taught master's in English) wasn't too tough, I'm all right with that stuff and I knew a few people already from conferences over here. Getting the visa was fucking tough though, I have no head for details and that was page after page of them. It'll be my first time over, yes, and I've been in the States my whole life (though lived all over here: Alabama, North Carolina, Maryland, Oklahoma, Washington state). Supported Liverpool since I was a kid thanks to a youth team coach putting me on the right path, but never had a chance to get farther than Canada a couple of times. Been looking forward to this for quite a while.

Coming from the States for a year at uni. I'll do all the touristy things at some point or another, but what all else should I know? (And is there any chance of a spare to Debrecen or Hull :whistle: )

I'll put my name in as well as I struck out on the members' sale. Will be the first game after I arrive in Liverpool and would obviously be thrilled just to get in the gates, been dreaming of it for almost 20 years now.

I've joined as next year will likely be my only chance to see a match or two (will be in Liverpool from mid-September through the end of the season). What's my best chance of getting a ticket--online? walk-up? postal? Also what's the best way to go about getting into an away match? (Obviously I have no fan card or anything to get among the traveling Kop.) I'll be in London the weekend of the Fulham match and I've wanted to see the Cottage anyway. I'm fully prepared to sit among the home fans and keep my mouth shut, just need to know what channels I should look to go through.
