Kuyt but I don't like saying that as he deserves another season. I'd rather we weren't bringing Vorinin in (although the fact I know nothing about him means that statement's worthless) send Fowler on his way or relegate to 5th choice, keep the other 3 and bring in another top striker
I think it could only work if A.N.Other was to be Fowler, as he's just made up to be here. If it was a £20m+ type player who'd come in as number 1, then I don't think all 4 of the others could be kept happy
At least we have a few players who have already played at the Nou Camp, so it's not going to be a total shock to them
Reina, Gerrard, Carragher, Hyypia, Zenden, maybe Sissoko, maybe Gonzales, Alonso.
Any others?
I've haven't seen anything Rafa said after the match, but in a lot of the quotes I've seen he doesn't actually call them small, just one of the 'smaller clubs'
I'm sure it was something about 'when the smaller clubs come here...'
So did he actually directly call them small or just label them as smaller than us which they have already agreed with since Saturday
No for me
Top scorer this season despite having less minutes than Kuyt and around the same as Bellamy. Offers something different to the others and despite the criticism over his heading, does score a fair few of them. Will only get better as well
If Fowler isn't given service he doesn't appear to be doing much. He's not like a Kuyt or a Crouch who'll be involved in the game even if that doesn't mean threatening the goal. Fowler needs the service, but give him that and he usually delivers
Good idea and hopefully it'll happen
One of my favourite memories of last season was the crowd chanting Rafa's name at the final whistle at home to Benfica, to show they even when things don't go to plan he still has our backing
I was tempted by that, double up on Ronaldo who although I don't like admitting it, is in very good form. But I don't like unsettling the back 5 and that was last season's excellent back 5 the other night so could be tempted to keep Riise at left back and put Warnock ahead of him
Not that Rafa will though
