I've said this so many times now, it just seems that most are standing around like stunned mullets apart from Bellamy and Kuyt. You can't expect Xabi to put it at your feet from 70 yards each and everytime! You see this with throw-ins with Pennant being a prime example. There have been so many times where I have seen Agger carrying the ball out from his own half frustrated at the lack of options and it more often than not leads to a bad pass. We have to get to basics, we have to go looking for the ball because the ball isn't going to come and look for you.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not moaning but its just when I see the quality of football of other teams compared to ours then I start to see the shortcomings of our current squad. I'm sure we can keep on improving!

Kuyt is the only one who seems to go looking for the ball, alonso and gerrard should to take note!

Our passing game seriously needs to improve if we are to challenge for the title and we are still sending too many long balls to the strikers. Xabi and Gerrard were good but our midfielders need to start moving about and want the ball. Too many times I saw Xabi and Gerrard both standing around not getting into a position to receive the ball meaning that Hyppia and Carra tonked the ball over the top. I'm not convinced about the quality of our football, at times its class but for the most its not..........

I've only been on the forums for a short time and Rashid came across as a decent poster, most of the negatives against Rashid were quite petty, very childish indeed.

Dude you are fucking spot on, I've noticed this with most games. NO ONE WANTS THE FUCKING BALL!!!!!! There is no midfield!!!!!!!!!! Xabi plays too far back and Stevie plays too far forward, Pennant and Gonzalez are too wide and the only player I see coming back to receive a pass is Kuyt. be.......Unfuckingbelievable, it was the same with Arsenal last week, if Boro had the passing game of Arsenal we'd be ripped to shreds. How many times did carra tonk the ball to the forwards????

Arsenal totally outclassed us today, they had at least 2 players available for every pass whereas no one on our side wanted the fucking ball. Crouch is too slow for a side like Arsenal, Bellamy should've come on much much earlier. Our central midfielders sat back too deep which allowed the gunners acres of space to play short one touch passes and most of it was magnificent to watch. What good are two holding midfielders when none of the widemen and strikers are not creative enough. We got murdered down the left side and it pissed off so many times that one arsenal player was able to step through 2 Liverpool defenders! The players looked up for it today but they were totally outclassed.
